Mexican president to pursue ‘legal measures’ against U.S. after ICE shooting of alleged violent illegal

Not only is the left up in arms after an illegal alien from Mexico was shot and killed by an ICE agent, but now Mexico is seeking legal recourse for the “mistreatment” of its citizens.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum announced she would be pursuing “legal measures” against the Trump administration, joining in her nation’s outrage over the shooting death of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston, Texas, by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer during a traffic stop.

“Our objective is to go beyond diplomatic notes and the measures we have already raised before the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, because we cannot allow the mistreatment of our fellow Mexicans in the United States,” Sheinbaum told reporters. “Unfortunately, there has been another death of a Mexican national in the United States for being detained, when that person’s only offense was lacking immigration documents, even though they had been hired by an American company.”

Araujo reportedly “rammed an ICE law enforcement vehicle, refused to follow multiple verbal commands and weaponized his vehicle in an attempt to run over an ICE law enforcement officer, resulting in our officer firing his weapon in self-defense,” according to DHS.

Sheinbaum, like America’s left. did not include the inconvenient details in her comments, choosing to claim the Mexican national was only “lacking immigration documents.”

Social media users delivered the Mexican president a scathing reality check.
