Attorney General Pam Bondi formally launched a new task force that will target and root out “anti-Christian bias” in the federal government, hosting a meeting of Trump administration Cabinet officials on Tuesday.
It was the first meeting of the new interagency task force that was established by President Donald J. Trump through a February executive order “to end the anti-Christian weaponization of government and unlawful conduct targeting Christians.”
During the meeting, Bondi described the new task force’s duties as aiming to remedy the “abuse” of former President Joe Biden’s Justice Department and other government agencies during the four years prior to Trump taking office for his second term.

“As President Donald Trump has stated, the Biden administration engaged in an egregious pattern of targeting peaceful Christians while ignoring violent, anti-Christian offenses,” the attorney general told reporters, according to Fox News. “The president is right.”
Among the senior Cabinet officials joining the attorney general for the meeting were Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and FBI Director Kash Patel.
“Together, this Task Force will identify any unlawful anti-Christian policies, practices, or conduct across the government. Seek input from the faith-based organizations and state governments to end anti-Christian bias. Find and fix deficiencies in existing and regulatory practices that might contribute to the anti-Christian bias,” the attorney general stated.
It is past time to end the anti-Christian weaponization of government started by the last administration!

Bondi said that ultimately, “the First Amendment isn’t just the line in the Constitution. It’s the cornerstone of our American memory.”
“It guarantees every citizen the right to speak freely, worship freely, and live according to their conscience without government interference. Protecting Christians from bias is not favoritism. It’s upholding the rule of law and fulfilling the constitutional promise,” she added, marking a return to traditional values after the tyranny unleashed by Biden’s attorney general, Merrick Garland, who ran the DOJ like the head of the anti-Christian Democratic Party’s secret police.
“Biden’s Department of Justice abused and targeted Christians,” Trump said earlier this year of the previous regime’s persecution. “Pro-life Christians were arrested and imprisoned for peacefully praying outside abortion clinics… NO MORE!”
Trump tapped Bondi to head the new task force, praising her as someone he could trust to “fully prosecute anti-Christian violence and vandalism in our society.”
“As shown by our victims’ stories today, Biden’s Department of Justice abused and targeted peaceful Christians while ignoring violent, anti-Christian offenses,” Bondi said, according to a DOJ press release on the task force’s formal launching. “Thanks to President Trump, we have ended those abuses, and we will continue to work closely with every member of this Task Force to protect every American’s right to speak and worship freely.”
