Biden seeking to hire 1,200 ‘DEI bureaucrats’ before he leaves office

Every indication suggests the outgoing Biden-Harris regime is out to do as much damage as possible before being shown to the door on January 20, 2025.

Be it the open border madness, where migrants are still being ushered into the U.S. at a clip of 1,500 per day via the administration’s CBP One cell phone app, to further infecting the federal bureaucracy with discriminatory social justice madness, the White House is determined to squeeze every ounce of juice from its overripe left-wing agenda.

On the latter note, the Daily Wire’s Luke Rosiak is reporting that the administration “is in the process of hiring up to 1,200 DEI bureaucrats, who could be embedded in the permanent civil service.” The outlet fell back on its analysis of federal job ads, further noting that 33 jobs were posted “10 days immediately following the election of Donald Trump, and the hiring window closes before he takes office.” The positions reportedly have annual salaries “of up to $310,000.”

Two examples showcased include a Nov. 15 HHS ad for a Deputy Assistant Secretary for Minority Health, to “promote health equity” at a salary of up to $221,900, and a planned Federal Deposit Insurance Commission (FDIC) offering “for two separate $310,000 positions, both of which can work from home three days a week and will be paid to ‘advocate’ for DEI.”

Considering that Trump has said federal workers who don’t want to return to the office are “going to be dismissed,” it’s almost as if they are setting the incoming president up to take a media beating when he does the predictable, which is to eliminate roles that serve no real function other than to promulgate left-wing orthodoxy.

Here are some other examples of the nonsensical waste of taxpayer dollars:

“If the hires are completed, taxpayers will be paying people who the Trump administration had no say in selecting, to advocate for DEI policies the Trump administration does not support,” the Daily Wire’s Luke Rosiak wrote.
