Republican frontrunner Donald J. Trump was joined by Vivek Ramaswamy as he campaigned in New Hampshire, teasing a big role for his former rival as he zeroes in on the party’s nomination.
On Tuesday, fresh off of his historic win in Iowa, the former president headed to the Granite State where he hopes to shore up support against Democrat-backed Nikki Haley in next week’s GOP primary and was joined by the bold young political newcomer.

“Wow! How was that? Pretty good, right?” Trump said after Ramaswamy urged attendees at a rally in Atkinson to vote for him. “He’s a fantastic guy. He’s got something that’s very special because he started off with a zippo and he ended up very strong. He did a great job. I was actually surprised when he called because he was doing well. And it’s an honor to have his endorsement.”
“He’s going to be working with us and he’ll be working with us for a long time,” Trump added as some in the crowd urged him to pick the biotech entrepreneur as his running mate.
During a fiery speech at the rally, Ramaswamy took aim at the media darling who he has been a fierce critic of and who is the establishment’s latest best hope to take down Trump.

After the rally, Ramaswamy appeared on “Jesse Watters Primetime” where he told the Fox News host that its time for Haley and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to also drop out and endorse Trump to focus on the greater objective of defeating Joe Biden and his ruthless authoritarian party.
Tonight I officially called on Ron DeSantis & Nikki Haley to drop out and endorse Trump. Our base spoke loud & clear last night. Now it’s our job to follow their mandate and revive this country. America-First, always. pic.twitter.com/3sj0NiFpHN

“I think Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley would actually, at this point, do this country and this party a service by stepping aside to make sure that we’re focused on not only nominating Donald Trump but getting this country back and reviving those founding revolutionary ideals,” he told Watters.
Trump’s positive words for the young up-and-comer came after he had lashed out at him over the weekend before Hawkeye State voters would cast their votes.
“Vivek started his campaign as a great supporter, ‘the best President in generations,’ etc. Unfortunately, now all he does is disguise his support in the form of deceitful campaign tricks,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Saturday. “Very sly, but a vote for Vivek is a vote for the ‘other side.’”
Trump would later call Ramaswamy’s endorsement a “great honor” after he acknowledged that there was no path forward for him and ended his campaign, enthusiastically endorsing the frontrunner.
This entire campaign is about speaking the TRUTH. We did not achieve our goal tonight & we need an America-First patriot in the White House. The people spoke loud & clear about who they want. Tonight I am suspending my campaign and endorsing Donald J. Trump and will do everything…

Tonight I am suspending my campaign and endorsing Donald J. Trump and will do everything I can to make sure he is the next U.S. President. I am enormously proud of this team, this movement, and our country,” Ramaswamy wrote on X after the votes had been counted.
