What is worse than being a delusional convicted murderer? Telling a room full of people that your children, whom you killed, are in a better place.
Lori Vallow Daybell, who has earned the titles of both “cult mom” and “convicted murderer” did just that during her sentencing where she received life in prison without parole for the 2019 murders of her children Tylee Ryan and J.J. Vallow, and conspiring to murder her husband’s ex-wife Tammy Daybell.
It was quickly made abundantly clear that Vallow Daybell is still living in her own world in the Idaho courtroom, and her statements made it hard for anyone to feel empathetic toward her.
“Jesus knows me and Jesus understands me. I mourn with all of you who mourn my children and Tammy. Jesus Christ knows the truth of what happened here. Jesus Christ knows that no one was murdered in this case,” Vallow Daybell said. “Accidental deaths happen, suicides happen, fatal side effects from medications happen.”
“I have had many communications with Jesus Christ, Savior of this world, and our heavenly parents. I have had many angelic visitors, have come and communicated with me and even manifested themselves to me because of these communications,” she added. “I know for a fact that my children are happy and busy in the spirit world. Because of my communications with my friend, Tammy Daybell, I know that she is also very happy and extremely busy.”
