‘Prankster’ banned from NBA events for sleepy stunt at WNBA game

A YouTuber known for his prank videos may have gotten in a little more trouble than he expected after pulling some shenanigans at a WNBA game.

JiDion was busted napping court-side, and I’m not just talking about nodding off quickly. This man put on a sleeping cap and pajamas, and laid across several seats with a pillow and blanket. He was fully prepared to engage in the stunt, even after getting a firm talking to by someone reportedly associated with the teams who were playing that night.

“Now I’ve asked you not to do this, and here’s your warning,” admonished the official.

The entire event became a video titled “Don’t sleep on the WNBA!” and amassed a shocking 5.7million views in five days.

JiDion argued with security and officials, claiming he had various ailments including sleep apnea. Nobody bought his jokes, though, and eventually, the police were called to handle the sleepy trickster. He was notified that he was no longer allowed to come back to the premises and was not welcome at any future “NBA-related events.”
