‘What is Kamala talking about?’ VP Harris praises Jessie Jackson, claims he ‘defined the rainbow’

Vice President Kamala Harris attended the 57th Annual Rainbow/PUSH Convention in Chicago to pay tribute to 81-year-old race hustler Jessie Jackson, who is retiring as head of the organization he has led for more than 50 years — Jackson insists he is not retiring, but “pivoting to another platform.”

“So, today we celebrate one of America’s greatest patriots, someone who deeply believes in the promise of our country, a fighter for freedom and human rights for all people,” Harris said, surely leaving some wondering if she was referring to Jesse Jackson.

But she would soon doing her best to mimic a black southern preacher ala Hillary Clinton to talk about how Jackson “defined” the rainbow — the Bible notwithstanding.

“And early on — just think about it.  Early on, he even had the audacity to name this coalition the National Rainbow Coalition,” VP Harris said with great wonderment, while Jackson struggled to stay awake behind her. “Think about that. He defined the rainbow. He was one of the first to define the rainbow.”

The Rainbow PUSH Coalition announced on Friday that leadership of the group has officially been transferred to Reverend Dr. Frederick Douglass Haynes III of Dallas, who will serve as president.
