DoorDash driver kicked to curb after cursing woman for $5 tip on a $20 order

While you want your pizza to be delivered hot that doesn’t necessarily extend to a hot delivery driver, as in peeved.

A DoorDash delivery driver found himself out of a job after he cursed a female customer who tipped him $5 on a $20 pizza order — that’s 25% for those keeping score at home.

Lacey Purcival, who lives in Texas, shared doorbell camera footage of the ungrateful driver complaining about the tip after handing her the pie.

“I just want to say it’s a nice house for a $5 tip,” the driver said.

“You’re welcome,” Purcival replied, prompting the now-former DoorDash driver to fire back, “F*ck you!”

“So how much should I be tipping for a $20 pie??” Purcival asked in the video caption.

A spokesperson for DoorDash confirmed to Business Insider that the driver was kicked to the curb.

“Respectfully asking for a tip is acceptable but abusing or harassing someone is never acceptable,” the spokesperson said, adding: “Our rules exist to help ensure everyone who uses our platform – Dashers, customers, merchants – have a safe and enjoyable experience.”
