Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa.) who has already built a fine reputation for dressing like a complete slob at work seems to be determined to add a complete ignorance about the U.S. Constitution to his dismal list of accomplishments which he did with a totally boneheaded tweet about the 14th Amendment that underscores his lack of fitness for the office that he occupies.
As a part of a group of far-left Democrat senators who are demanding that President Joe Biden thrust the nation into a constitutional crisis by invoking a legally dubious Civil War-era provision of the amendment to circumvent Congress on raising the debt ceiling without having to give up any of the ill-gotten funds for their climate communist agenda, Fetterman further endorsed the scheme which is unlikely to pass muster with the courts.
“President Biden needs to consider using the 14th Amendment if necessary,” the senator wrote. “The entire GOP debt ceiling negotiation is a sad charade, and it’s exactly what’s wrong with Washington. We’re playing with fire and the livelihoods of millions just for the GOP to try and turn the screws on hungry Americans.”
“This is the whole reason why the 14th Amendment exists, and we need to be prepared to use it. We cannot let these reckless Republicans hold the economy hostage,” Fetterman added,” a false statement that was quickly corrected by Twitter’s community notes.

Fetterman uncorked his interpretation of the 14th Amendment on the day the Bernie Sanders-led senators held a press conference that he showed up at looking like he just crawled out of a dumpster, but got new attention on Wednesday after users pointed out that the hulking Pennsylvania galoot’s constitutional scholar hat was actually a dunce cap.

The debt ceiling negotiations are currently stalled with signs that Biden is having second thoughts about using the 14th Amendment despite the urging of Comrade Bernie and his fellow socialist zanies like Fetterman.
