Having effed around, CNN’s Don Lemon is now finding out the hard way that talking trash about women is not such a great idea.
As previously reported, last week Lemon stirred controversy when he essentially argued that Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley shouldn’t be running for president because she’s no longer in her so-called “prime.”
The remarks prompted massive bipartisan backlash and led to Lemon ostensibly leaving for his President’s Day vacation a day early and issuing a Twitter apology.
But the apology clearly wasn’t good enough for celebrated conservative Christian actress Patricia Heaton, 64, one of the stars of “Everybody Loves Raymond.”
In a tweet posted Friday afternoon, she started a #PrimeTime hashtag to push back on Lemon’s misogynistic rhetoric.
Look:
Hey Ladies – @donlemon thinks women over 50 are past their prime! Let’s start #primetime and list some of the things we’ve accomplished in these glorious later years. I’ll start:

The point of the hashtag was to prove that women over 50 are anything but “past their prime.” To prove her point, she began listing her own post-50 accomplishments.
They include publishing several books, creating an “Emmy-winning show,” produced and starring in a CBS sitcom, founding a non-profit, reading the Bible “all the way through” and more.

Plenty of others got in on the action as well, including liberal attorney Lisa Bloom.
“I own and run one of the biggest and most effective civil rights law firms in the country, take down billionaire bullies, fight for & win justice for deserving victims, and get to hang with fun people every day. This is what #primetime in a woman’s life looks like. I’m 61,” she tweeted.
Best-selling author Alison Levine came at it even stronger, aiming directly for Lemon’s jugular.
“I am 56 years old and I want to start training to be an MMA fighter so I can challenge
@donlemon to a match. I think I can win because *I AM IN MY PRIME.* I climbed Everest twice. I can easily take this guy. @NikkiHaley gets a free ringside seat. #primetime #DonLemon,” she tweeted.

What remains to be seen is whether Lemon will continue having a job at CNN. The embattled host has already been on the radar courtesy both his history of controversial remarks and his far-left commentary that he thinks is “journalism.”
With this new added offense, many say his come is stuff and he’s got to go. Included among these many are even some of his own colleagues.
“He has got to go. He is hurting the brand. Women aren’t even focused on the sexism — it’s the damage to CNN,” a CNN insider told the New York Post late last week.
“Everyone is pissed about it. It makes us the story and it hurts us,” another insider said.
A third insider added that nobody cared for his apology.
“Most pathetic attempt at an apology I have ever heard in my life… It did not go over well,” they said.
The same source called Lemon a “f–king a–hole” for thinking he isn’t sexist because he has female friends.
