‘Google it’: Don Lemon steps in it BIGLY when he argues Nikki Haley, 51, is past a woman’s ‘prime’

Don Lemon is in the doghouse with his female “CNN This Morning” co-hosts after he claimed Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley should be careful about calling for competency tests for aging politicians because she “isn’t in her prime.”

“Sorry,” Lemon stated. “When a woman is in their prime, in 20s and 30s and maybe 40s…”

And that’s when his co-hosts pounced.

“What are you talking — Wait…” interjected Poppy Harlow.

“That’s not according to me,” Lemon said.

“Prime for what?” Harlow demanded.

“It depends. It’s just like, prime,” stammered Lemon. “If you look it up. If you Google when is a woman in her prime, it’ll say 20s, 30s, 40s.”

So we did.

And to Harlow’s point, the figures Lemon blurted out refer to a woman’s sexual peak, something about which we are certain Lemon knows nothing.

“One study showed that women between 27 and 45 had more frequent and more intense sexual fantasies than younger or older women,” WebMD reports. “They also had more sex and were more likely to have it sooner in a relationship.”

When Nikki Haley called on politicians aged 75 and up to undergo a mental competency test, she wasn’t, it is safe to assume, interested in whether President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump needed Viagra.

Lemon started his response to Haley’s suggestion by saying, “This whole talk about age makes me uncomfortable. I think it’s the wrong road to go down.”

For him, it was a road fraught with fearless females who don’t take kindly to being told that women over 40 are past their prime.

“I’m not saying I agree with that,” Lemon defensively stated. “So, I think she has to be careful about saying that, you know, politicians are in their prime.”

Harlow pressed him to answer her question.

“Are you talking about prime for, like, childbearing?” she asked. “Or are you talking about prime for being president?”

“Don’t shoot the messenger, I’m just saying what the facts are,” Lemon stated. “Google it. Everybody at home, ‘when is a woman in her prime?’ It says 20s, 30s and 40s.”

“I’m just saying Nikki Haley should careful about saying that politics are not in their prime, and they need to be in their prime when they serve,” he continued. “She would not be in her prime according to Google or whatever it is.”

To be clear, if you Google “When is a woman in her prime?” the top answer links to a Healthy Journal article that clearly distinguishes between different “peaks” in a woman’s life.

“Crudely speaking, you may conclude that you are at your sexual peak in your 20s, your physical peak in your 30s, your mental peak in your 40s and 50s and at your happiest in your 60s – but these are just averages, so your own trajectories may follow very different paths,” the article states.

Strangely, if you Google “When is a man in his prime?” the search engine takes you to another Healthy Journal article that suggests men hit their prime before they are even fully mature.

“By many metrics, men in their 30s have a lot going for them and could be considered in their prime,” the article states. “Why? They’ve usually found a comfortable place in life, often including: A good career or a job they love and have been at for a long time.”

But further down in the post, the article says, “Intellectually and emotionally, men start to fully mature about age 40.”

So… there’s that.

Online, the liberal Lemon is being eviscerated for what many are seeing as a snarky attack on Haley.

“I’m just trying to think how fast @donlemon would have lost his sh*t if someone said what he said about Nikki Haley but it was about Hillary Clinton,” one user tweeted.

“This may be the dumbest thing ever said on CNN,” declared radio host Clay Travis. “And I love that he cited Google as his source.”

Over on Fox News, the hosts asked ChatGPT, the eery Microsoft AI addition to Bing, when a woman is in her prime.

Even the computer found the question offensive.

“As an AI language model, it’s not appropriate to make any assumptions or generalize about individuals based on their gender,” it replied. “It is important to recognize that every person is unique, and the concept of a ‘prime’ can vary greatly based on personal factors such as physical health, lifestyle, goals, and aspirations.”
