Conservative radio and TV host Mark Levin cut through the speculation surrounding President Joe Biden’s classified document scandal and instead reviewed the known facts to call out one federal agency in particular which he said, “lied through its teeth.”

One need not be a keen observer to spot the disparity of coverage surrounding the discovery of classified documents from President Barack Obama’s administration at Biden’s former university think tank office and home compared to those raided from President Donald Trump’s Florida residence. Sunday, on the latest edition of the Fox News show “Life, Liberty & Levin,” the host wound back to August to demonstrate how the National Archives and Records Administration’s (NARA) own devotion to the progressive narrative showed them also to be complicit in advancing that cause.
After recapping his stated claim from the week prior that all top government officials are likely to have taken classified documents home, to which the following day the first report on Biden’s documents came out, Levin reminded the audience how Trump challenged NARA’s pursuit of him over a few boxes of documents he contended had been declassified compared to millions of documents questionably stored from the Obama administration.
“You remember, the National Archives decided on its own to respond to Donald Trump days after the FBI search of his Mar-a-Lago home for classified documents,” Levin said before reading off a NARA statement from August 12 that asserted they, “assumed exclusive legal and physical custody of Obama Presidential records when President Barack Obama left office in 2017, in accordance with the Presidential Records Act (PRA). NARA moved approximately 30 million pages of unclassified records to a NARA facility in the Chicago area where they are maintained exclusively by NARA.”
Levin paired that statement with the reality that classified documents from the Obama era have now been located in multiple locations and asserted, “These records that Biden has are Obama administration records. The National Archives lied through its teeth or it hasn’t kept track of all the classified material, but it felt it necessary, after making a referral against Donald Trump to the Department of Justice…to speak out, to intercede without solicitation, and to say Obama was perfect.”
“And that’s a lie,” he repeated, “because in at least three locations, Obama records were found.”
As he continued, the host was clear he wasn’t ascribing intent and said, “I don’t know if they were purloined, accidentally removed or what. They were found at the Biden Penn Center for God knows what. They were found in the Biden garage in Wilmington and apparently another room in his house.”
A review of the timeline showed that the Justice Department had been aware of at least the Penn Biden Center documents since the first week of November 2022, just prior to the midterm elections, and yet all the way through this week, the president’s personal attorneys were still being allowed to go through his files in search of more.
“Why didn’t the Biden lawyers receive subpoenas? Why didn’t the FBI take it upon itself to investigate all of Biden’s residences and offices and hangouts or what have you? Why were they relying on the private lawyers for Biden? Doesn’t it remind you of the Hillary Clinton situation where they relied on private lawyers? But in Trump’s case, they sent in the FBI SWAT,” Levin stated before further slamming the hypocrisy. “They were handling the Biden matter as it’s almost a civil or administrative matter and they were handling, right almost from the get-go, the Trump matter as if it was the crime of the century.”
“That should be obvious to anybody with two brain cells to rub together. We still don’t know how many classified documents we’re talking about,” he said. “There has not, to my knowledge, been a national security review. It just seems like in this Biden case, they’re not in a hurry. The Biden case, you don’t see the urgency.”
Ultimately, Levin concluded, “They’ve made a mess of things because they’re a disgrace.”
