Left goes into meltdown after CNN exposed Biden as the ‘Weekend at Bernie’s’ president

Leftists just can’t take it when President Biden’s lack of mental and/or physical presence is reported on by CNN, considering he spends a great deal of his time on vacation in Delaware rather than at the White House.

That doesn’t take into account how his lackeys continually cover for him when he’s actually playing the part of the president. It’s simply embarrassing.

Thin skin abounds among unhinged progressives these days and nowhere is that more apparent than when it comes to CNN. The left has gotten it into their collective heads that CNN is somehow absurdly Fox News lite. The network had the temerity to report on Biden’s continued absence which many contend factually makes him a “Weekend at Bernie’s” president.

When former President Trump went golfing, vitriol spewed from leftists in the media and on the ground. Faux outrage was everywhere over it. But when Biden wanders off to eat ice cream somewhere and spends even more time at his secluded Delaware home, they paint that as presidential somehow. He has taken almost 180 vacation days since being in office. That doesn’t leave a lot of time in two years to run the most powerful nation on earth… except into the ground, evidently.

“Some 21 months into his term, Biden has made 55 visits to Delaware, totaling some or all of 174 days as of Sunday, according to a CNN analysis of presidential schedules and a tally kept by Mark Knoller, the longtime unofficial statistician of the White House press corps. In addition, Biden has made 19 visits, or all or part of 64 days, to the Camp David presidential retreat in rural Maryland,” CNN reported.

“He has now surpassed even the getaway time of former President Donald Trump, so often criticized by Democrats for his regular departures from the White House to stay at one of his personal homes. At this point in his tenure, Trump had spent about 135 days at either his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida or his home at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. Trump also had spent 23 days at Camp David,” the leftist media outlet continued.

Biden has spent precious little time on national matters or campaigning for Democrats for that matter. Many seem to prefer he stay away.

“Obama traveled to 78 cities between January and the end of September in his first midterm cycle, hosting fundraisers in 16 cities, while Trump hit 57 cities and held 27 fundraisers in his first midterms,” according to Townhall. “Biden, by comparison, has only visited 47 cities and held 11 fundraisers in the first nine months of 2022. And his lack of presence on the trail — while surely a blessing for some vulnerable battleground Democrats — is also reflected in the number of Democrat groups being forced to triage their midterm spending to prioritize fewer races while the GOP expands their midterm map.”

And you just gotta love the justification coming out of the White House.

“President Biden is deeply proud of his roots and his family and it has been a staple of his time in public life to never lose touch with either,” White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates told CNN. “Presidents of the United States are constantly on the job, regardless of their location – whether they’re on a state visit overseas or just 100 miles from the White House for a short trip to Wilmington, DE. And as all Americans can agree, it’s important for leaders to avoid becoming ensconced in Washington, DC.”

A decidedly different tune was played when Trump was in office.

When Biden does show up somewhere other than a vacation spot, he tends to forget where he is at times, getting lost just leaving the stage. He tells massive fibs and rambles off into oblivion. His gaffes are legendary. The president shuffles like he’s just this side of the grave making it evident that he is well past his sell-by date.

CNN had the nerve to actually report on his ongoing absence from the White House which has caused the left to have a meltdown once again, screeching at the network and calling for a boycott, which is trending on Twitter. They really need some new material over there.
