Tulsi dishes on reasons for leaving Dem party and who reached out to her after the announcement

Former Hawaii congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has had her differences with the Democratic Party and in announcing that she was leaving, she not only blew up that particular bridge but totally incinerated it by taking a flamethrower to the “fanatical ideologues” who are firmly in control of an entity that has mainstreamed political extremism.

On Tuesday, the 41-year-old ex-lawmaker made it official in a scathing viral video that she posted to Twitter delivering the news that she was cutting ties with what she described as “an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness,” words that infuriated her detractors but earned her praise from others including an unnamed Democrat member of Congress who texted her with “three thumbs up” after she condemned the party.

“I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms, are,” she wrote in a series of tweets accompanying her blistering video, “hostile to people of faith & spirituality, demonize the police & protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans, believe in open borders, weaponize the national security state to go after political opponents, and above all, dragging us ever closer to nuclear war.”

Gabbard told more about why she chose to end her time with the fully fascist party during an appearance on Fox News where she talked with Tucker Carlson on Tuesday’s edition of his popular nightly show.

“I cannot be a member of a party which actively undermines our freedom,” Gabbard told the host. “When you look at this party, today’s Democratic Party, it’s controlled by fanatical ideologues who hate freedom. They despise the Constitution. They actively find ways to undermine our God-given rights, enshrined in the Constitution, like freedom of speech.”

‘They will do all that they can to destroy you, silence you, smear you – work with Big Tech, work with corporate media – to actively destroy anyone who dares to even question their agenda, “she said, having experienced firsthand the authoritarian tactics of her now-former party.

“I cannot be a member of a party that is against freedom and actively trying to undermine it,” she added.

The Iraq war veteran was also extremely critical of President Joe Biden and his reckless regime for the escalating situation between Russia and Ukraine where, instead of acting to end hostilities, has continued to inflame the situation to the point where a nuclear war is now increasingly possible, a far cry from the days of the Trump administration when U.S. foreign policy was under the control of adults.

“Rather than taking a stand for peace, prosperity, security and the freedom of the American people, we have too many people in Washington who are warmongers, subservient to the military-industrial complex, and continuing to put their own selfish interests or the interests of their donors first, with no mind for the cost and consequence that their decisions have on the American people,” she said.

She told Carlson that Biden and Democrats are “actively pushing us to the brink of a nuclear holocaust,” remarks that were echoed by dear leader himself who last week said that the nation was closer to Armageddon than it has been since the Cuban missile crisis in 1962 when the White House was also under Democrat control.

“They may have their bunkers where they’ll be safe but we the American people will have no shelter, no place to go, no place to hide and face the consequences that could destroy all of humanity and the world as we know it,” Gabbard added.

Carlson asked about the reaction to her announcement, “Has anyone called you today, your former colleagues, Democrats, to say anything to you?”

“One,” she answered. “One got in touch with me and sent me a text message with three thumbs up,” she said.

While the apparatchiks of the party of “fanatical ideologues” remained in typical lockstep unity, Republican lawmakers greeted Gabbard’s choice to leave with great enthusiasm.

“Bad news for Democrats, @TulsiGabbard isn’t the only one leaving the Democrat party,” tweeted Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene. “Skyrocketing inflation, terrifying crime, deadly borders, unaffordable gas & energy, and an unwanted war with Russia are all serious issues affecting every single American & caused by Democrats.”

“@TulsiGabbard is leaving the Democrat Party just like millions and millions of common sense Americans!” Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert wrote. “So glad to see so many people waking up to the scam that they’ve been perpetrating on voters for years.”

Meghan McCain, former co-host of “The View” wrote, “Congratulations @TulsiGabbard – there are so few free thinkers and independents left in this world and you are one of them. We are in your corner. Onward and upward!”

The big question is whether voters will join Gabbard in rejecting the most dangerous and un-American political party in the nation’s history. The answer is only weeks away.
