Former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard made it public on Tuesday that she is finally leaving the Democrat Party, explosively and accurately calling them “an elitist cabal” spurred on by “cowardly wokeness.”
”I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms that are enshrined in our Constitution,” the former Hawaii congresswoman declared in a viral video on Twitter.
She wasn’t done either. Gabbard blasted Democrats for being “hostile to people of faith and spirituality” while demonizing police officers and giving cover to criminals “at the expense of law-abiding Americans.”
The former Democrat hammered leading Democrats for weaponizing national security “to go after their political opponents, and above all, who are dragging us ever closer to nuclear war.”

She proclaimed that she believes in a government “that’s of the people, by the people, and for the people.”
“Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government that is of, by, and for the powerful elite,” Gabbard remarked.
“I’m calling on my fellow common sense, independent-minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party,” she urged others in the party. “If you can no longer stomach the direction that the so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, I invite you to join me.”

Gabbard has been drifting away from the Democratic Party ever since her failed candidacy in the 2020 presidential primary. She has also become a brash, vocal critic of President Biden, denouncing him for “pouring fuel on the flames” of division in the country.

“[Gabbard] has always been sort of an independent maverick,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said, praising Gabbard on Tuesday according to Fox News. “And I think when she ran for president, she realized how really isolated she was from the great majority of the Democratic Party, which is now, frankly, a pretty weird party….I think you’re seeing this drift. And we’ve certainly seen among Latinos a huge drift towards the Republican Party as they’re driven away by the weirder policies of the Democratic Party.”

Tulsi’s been sounding like a republican ever since she took down Kamala during the presidential debate. She’s been a vocal critic of Biden’s warmongering and failed economy. She’s the only democrat with any common sense. This was no surprise. Bless Tulsi for her courage.
