Biden spins new narrative to excuse border chaos; ‘It’s a totally different circumstance’

It is exactly the last topic that Democrats wanted to be dominating headlines mere weeks before the critical midterm elections but the country’s illegal immigration crisis is on center stage thanks to the hysterical reaction after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis flew 50 migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, the wealthy elite’s very special vacation paradise.

On a day when there were reports that the Sunshine State Republican was shipping more illegals to deep blue territory, this time Biden’s own vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, the nation’s leader spun a completely new narrative to gaslight Americans about the ongoing catastrophe of his regime’s open borders policies.

When put on the spot by reporters during remarks at the Roosevelt Room of the White House on Tuesday as he was trying to make an exit, Biden instead reversed course, walking back to the podium to field questions.

“On the border, why is the border more overwhelmed under your watch, Mr. President” a reporter asked.

“Because there are three countries that are…never had,” Biden answered, “there are fewer…there are fewer immigrants coming from Central America and from Mexico, this is a totally different circumstance.”

“What’s on my watch now is Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua, and the ability to send them back to those states is not rational,” he said. “You could send them back and have them while we’re working with Mexico and other countries to see if we can stop the flow.”

“That’s the difference. Thank you,” as he made a beeline for the door with reporters shouting their follow-up questions at the embattled leader.

Another reporter caused Biden to pause with a question about the possibility that DeSantis would be sending illegals to his home state, “DeSantis, looks like he’s sending migrants to Delaware do you have any comment or response to that sir?”

“He should come and visit, we have a beautiful shoreline,” Biden responded.

It was a brilliant move by DeSantis to send the migrants to Martha’s Vineyard where they were greeted by panic and revulsion from the largely lily-white rich snobs whose hypocritical virtue signaling was laid bare when faced with the unwelcome brown-skinned guests on their exclusive island. It was clearly unexpected by Democrats who were riding high after they pulled the bait and switch to make abortion the centerpiece of their case for the continuance of one-party rule instead of having the midterms be a referendum on Biden and his disastrous economic policies, and they have struggled to respond.

On Tuesday, Biden had the look of a deer caught in the headlights and his shifting of the narrative drew a response from Twitter users.
