A female Colorado social worker has been accused of making “sexual advances” to dozens of mothers and had threatened to use her power to remove children from their homes if those mothers did not comply with her desires.
Robin Niceta, 41, a child-protective worker with Arapahoe County, allegedly lured parents and caretakers with alcohol into her home whereupon she would make sexual advances, a $1 million lawsuit filed by Aurora Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky alleges.
Jurinsky launched a class action lawsuit against Niceta after the latter filed false claims of child abuse against her. She has been joined by many of the 40-plus mothers who have standing in the suit, according to The Gazette.
Niceta is also accused of attempts to silence her victims through coercion and threats of separating parents from their children; this a reaction in the face of restraining orders filed by concerned parties.

Attorney Elliot Singer, who prepared the lawsuit, told The Gazette, “So far, several parents have come forward to let us know that they also had their children taken away from them as a result of Robin Niceta’s actions related to their cases whether by what they believe to be false testimony during court of what they believe to be false reports.”
In one notable instance, a mother said Niceta told her she had gift cards for her and offered her personal cell number. Niceta then asked the woman to come to her home in order to receive the gift cards. When the mother arrived, she was offered an alcoholic beverage that she denied, the Daily Mail illiterately reported.
“According to the client, Niceta said that she had gift cards to provide to the mother when she went and visited her child, gave her her personal cell phone number and asked her to come to her personal residence to pick up the gift cards. When she arrived there, Niceta invited the target of this investigation into her house, offering her an alcoholic beverage,” Singer said. “Once this member of the class declined what was clearly sexual advances, Niceta essentially turned on her and did everything in her power to make sure the child was permanently removed.”
Oh, but it continues.
Apparently, Niceta was romantically involved with erstwhile Aurora Police Chief Vanessa Wilson, who was fired in April, after the former social worker falsely claimed Jurinsky “sexually abused her son” via an anonymous tip on January 28, the outlet said. The arrest affidavit stated the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Department ascertained the tip was made from Niceta’s personal cell phone and that computer data showed Niceta researched the tip line’s number and Jurinsky’s address, The Gazette reported.
In May and amidst a Clubber Lang load of haymaking accusations, Niceta decided to throw in the towel.
“Please take my email as my immediate resignation from Arapahoe County,” Niceta wrote. “I appreciate the last 5 years and I wish you both the very best.”
An arrest warrant was issued for Niceta on May 16.
The lawsuit argues that through the defendants’ actions, “dozens, if not hundreds (or more), of Arapahoe County families have been torn apart, sometimes permanently, on the basis of constitutionally improper investigations, false sworn testimony by Arapahoe County employees, fabricated evidence introduced by Arapahoe County employees in both investigatory and judicial proceedings, and a downright inexplicable, unfounded, and unjust desire to separate or attempt to separate children from their parents or other caretakers.”
“Except in rare circumstances, the FBI cannot confirm or deny the existence of an investigation,” the FBI said, for whatever that is worth, according to Fox News.
