Despite quietly ending his “not another foot” policy on building a border wall, President Joe Biden’s lax stance on illegal immigration has encouraged the flood of illegals to continue this month including the arrest of 22 gang members and four sex offenders in the Rio Grande Valley Sector in Texas.

One such border hopper was Oscar Emilio Samayoa-Estrada who was taken into custody by Border Patrol Agents on August 5 according to a press release by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The Guatemalan national’s colorful history included 22 years of jail time for lewd acts with a minor child.
The second sex offender was Salvadoran national Kevin Benitez who met a fate similar to Samayoa’s last Friday when he was arrested along with 6 others. His criminal past included a conviction and 10 years probation for a 2016 Houston incident involving indecent exposure to a child.
Last Saturday, border enforcement agents also apprehended a criminal convicted of a third-degree child pornography felony and another convicted for sexual assault of an 11-year-old pre-teen.
More than 8,300 illegal border crossers with a past criminal conviction have been arrested by Border Patrol agents in this fiscal year alone according to a Fox News report. In an average month, half a million migrants pass through the border regions undetected by border patrol agents, and only around 200,000 are confronted by the overwhelmed agents.
Covering 1,776 total miles of coastal border, Border Patrol for the Miami Sector Florida has also seen its share of unsavory action this month.
Chief Patrol Agent Walter N. Slosar shared photos on social media of several recent arrests including a Haitian man “identified as a sex offender who was previously convicted of fondling a child & kidnapping.”

Hundreds of additional illegals who arrived by homemade watercraft were arrested in the same region this month by the U.S. Border Patrol agents.
In a two day period, #BorderPatrol agents & LE partners responded to 16 migrant landings in #Florida & arrested 263 migrants. All of the events involved makeshift, overloaded vessels. We urge migrants to avoid these #dangerous voyages that can potentially result in loss of life. pic.twitter.com/bnyvyvElq6
