Two unknown men are being heralded as “heroes” for heckling first lady Jill Biden as she entered a Connecticut ice cream shop on Wednesday.
What makes their behavior “heroic,” the first lady’s critics and detractors say, is the fact that they finally gave her a taste of reality.
A taste of reality that’s otherwise been missing from her diet thanks to the media’s slavishly flattering coverage of her and her husband.
Watch what happened below:
“Your husband is the worst President we ever had, you OWE us gas money”

As the first lady and her entourage approached the ice cream shop on foot, the first man yelled, “Your husband is the worst president we’ve ever had. You owe us gas money.”
In response, the first lady said, “Thank you. Thank you for your support. Thank you.”
The second heckler then chimed in, shouting, “You suck!”
I wanna buy that guy a beer, and a gallon of gas!!🎯🎯💪💪

According to the polls, she does indeed suck.
“Over the course of a month-long survey, 34 percent rated their opinion of the first lady as favorable, 29 percent said it was unfavorable, 28 percent had no opinion, and 9 percent said they never heard of her,” The Washington Post reported Saturday, citing a recent CNN poll.
“Previous CNN polling showed significantly more Americans holding a favorable rather than unfavorable view of the first lady — by about 2 to 1 in January 2021, at the start of Biden’s presidency,” the Post added.
What’s notable is that her favorability rating is lower than that of her husband, whose average favorability rating was 37.2 percent as of Sunday morning, according to RealClearPolitics.
Her favorability is also lower than that of her predecessor, Melania Trump.
“According to the latest CNN/SSRS poll, the former first lady ended her term with a 47% unfavorable rating and an approval rating of 42%,” Glamour magazine reported on Jan. 24th, 2021.
To be fair, Trump’s unfavorability rating was also higher.

Her dresses remind me the movie Gone With the Wind when Scarlett O’Hara has to make a dress out of the drapery after the war. pic.twitter.com/Y8oodzquhw

So why is the first lady’s favorability rating so low? Likely because she appears to be extraordinarily out of touch.
For instance, she recently attended a Latinx Luncheon, which was strike one given as Hispanics hate being called LatinX.
While delivering a speech at the event, she then proceeded to compare Hispanics to tacos. Strike two.
She made the gaffe while praising the leader of UnidosUS, the organization that apparently sponsored the event.
“Raul [Yzaguirre] helped build this organization with the understanding that the diversity of this community — as distinct as the bodegas of the Bronx, as beautiful as the blossoms of Miami, and as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio — is your strength,” she said.
Listen:
The comparison drew immense backlash, even from journalists.
“NAHJ encourages @FLOTUS & her communications team to take time to better understand the complexities of our people & communities. We are not tacos,” the National Association of Hispanic Journalists said in a statement.
“Our heritage as Latinos is shaped by various diasporas, cultures & food traditions. Do not reduce us to stereotypes.”

In response to the backlash, the first lady apologized … but only indirectly. Strike three.
“The First Lady apologizes that her words conveyed anything but pure admiration and love for the Latino community,” her spokesperson announced on Twitter.
Her behavior on Saturday — just saying “thank you” and ignoring the fact that people genuinely dislike her and her husband — only seemed to provide further proof to her critics and detractors that she really is out of touch.
@FLOTUS is such an idiot that she thanked the hecklers who called @POTUS the worst president ever. Just more evidence as to how far out of touch they truly are. She doesn’t care why they said what they said…she only cares about the checks China sends them. pic.twitter.com/2a5a8l7dui

Gee. Dr. Jill’s not very bright now is she? @FLOTUS More proof that the Libs live in their own little world and are completely out of touch with reality https://t.co/h506bdBKPj
