‘Finding unity in the pain’: Country superstar’s anti-woke anthem hits number one on iTunes

Country music star John Rich has captured the hearts of conservatives across the country with his new pro-American anthem that bluntly tells the left to “stick your progress where the sun don’t shine.”

In just over a week since the song was initially released on Rumble and Truth Social, it flew at hyperspeed to the No. 1 spot on iTunes.

“Felt good to beat the machine today:),” Rich tweeted with a screengrab showing his twangy tune was beating out oversized star Lizzo and singer-songwriter Billie Eilish.

“Thanks to all of you for the massive support! We are making good #Progress #NumberOne #Worldwide,” he added.

The opening scenes of the video feature classic American landscape and the red, white, and blue flying tall and proud.

“There’s a hole in this country where its heart used to be,” Rich sang as he strummed his patriotically blinged-out guitar.

“They say building back better will make America great. If that’s the wave of the future, all I’ve got to say…” Rich continued, “stick your progress where the sun don’t shine. Keep your big mess away from me and mine. If you leave us alone, well, we’d all be just fine.”

Interspersed between the lyrics promoting faith in Jesus also condemning the failed policies of President Joe Biden’s administration with lyrics and photographic reminders of the “progress” Democrats are causing like the empty baby formula shelves, out-of-control homeless encampments, and the “mostly peaceful” protests where rioters and fires had overtaken the streets.

“They invite the whole world, to come live in our land, leave our countryman dying in Afghanistan,” he rhymed.

“They said ‘let go of Jesus’ let government save, you can have back your freedoms if you do what we say,” Rich sang, shaking his head and finger in disagreement.

As he was quickly climbing the charts for his anti-leftism song, he tweeted a positive message conveying the long-held truth that difficult times only make Americans stronger and more resilient.

“America is finding unity in the pain. The more pain they bring, the more bonded we become. It’s working in reverse of what they hoped for,” the singer and whiskey connoisseur wrote.
