When it comes to shameless performances of political theatre, few are more accomplished artists than Nancy Pelosi’s cadre of attention seekers in the House of Representatives and on Tuesday afternoon in Washington D.C., Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may have outdone herself.
During a pro-abortion demonstration in front of the Supreme Court, AOC along with fellow “Squad” members Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley and Cori Bush were among Democrats who were arrested for blocking traffic during a staged event that was guaranteed to draw media coverage and, outside of the arrests of members of Congress, it was just another one of the public temper tantrums that have been staged for years since the Women’s March on the weekend of former President Trump’s inauguration.
But leave it to Ocasio-Cortez and Omar, the ethically challenged Minneapolis congresswoman to embellish their being led off by police to falsely present the image that they had been handcuffed which while suckering the gullible leftist media was quickly spotted by astute observers who exposed it as the Jussie Smollett-style hoax that it was.
Not only were no actual handcuffs visible in videos of the incident, but the smirking socialist diva gave the game away when she thrust her fist in the air, demonstrating that she is either a magician or a liar with the latter being an art form that she has mastered during her tenure in Congress.

The Bronx firebrand’s Somali-born crony also played it up for the cameras, tweeting and playing the victim while mistakenly leaving her own thrusted fist in the video excerpt, essentially outing herself as a phony.

The U.S. Capitol Police confirmed that 17 congressional Democrats were among those arrested but they were back out on the streets faster than the Colbert 9.
Correction: We made a total of 35 arrests for Crowding, Obstructing or Incommoding (DC Code § 22–1307).
That arrest number includes 17 Members of Congress.
