Don’t expect Meghan McCain to ever organize a baby shower for any of the women in the lives of Elon Musk or Nick Cannon after she described the duo as a “creepy tag-team” when the prolific dads exchanged pleasantries on Twitter.
Both Musk — who has repeatedly lamented the world’s population decline — and Cannon have multiple baby mamas, which prompted McCain to scorn an alleged “impregnate the planet mentality” in a Daily Mail column.
She bristled when Musk tweeted that “Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far.” Rapper and TV personality Cannon then chimed in “Right there with you my Brother!”

Musk, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO, now apparently has 10 kids, while Cannon is reportedly soon-to-be a father of eight.
As the world’s richest man, Musk, in particular, easily can afford to have a large family through different relationships and maintain multiple households for them, and all that goes with it.
He also opined on Twitter, “Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far,” before adding: “I hope you have big families and congrats to those who already do!”

In her Daily Mail column published on Friday, McCain was obviously not joyful about the bundles of joy, characterizing Musk’s basic premise as “flawed and unrealistic,” and “impersonal, fatalistic, and dystopian,” in the essay that you can read its entirety and judge for yourself.
“What the heck is going on here? This may be the creepiest tag team tweet thread in history,” she wrote about the Musk-Cannon interaction. “I don’t care how many times Musk eviscerates cancel culture and wokeism. I don’t care that he is ‘supposedly’ buying Twitter to save it from the bots and thought-police, or colonizing Mars to save the human race. This is flat out weird.”
The anti-Trump diva continued that many ordinary Americans living from paycheck to paycheck as inflation spirals out of control don’t have the resources to support more than one family.
Parenthetically, Musk says that he plans to significantly boost childcare benefits for his employees.
“This ‘impregnate the planet’ mentality is creepy and comes off like the actions of a cult leader more than an altruistic person who wants to expand their family and save the planet…Let’s get one thing straight – Musk is no role model. What he decides to do with his sperm, surrogates and employees is his choice…What he’s missing is the emphasis on the family unit. Meaning — one baby mama, one marriage, with a lot of children living under one roof,” McCain, who is a mom, insisted.
Kids are worth it if at all possible. I’m planning to increase childcare benefits at my companies significantly.
Hopefully, other companies do same.
Also, Musk Foundation plans to donate directly to families.
Hopefully, details to be announced next month.

McCain, who joined the Daily Mail as a columnist in September 2021, also noted that data suggests that kids have the best outcomes when raised in a two-parent, family unit.
Claiming that the quirky and visionary tech entrepreneur is heading toward “false messiah” status, the former “View” co-host and possible anti-MAGA political candidate concluded, “No one could possibly negate the fact that Elon Musk is a genius, but geniuses don’t have the answers to all of life’s problems…He is an eccentric billionaire who leads an entirely different kind of life than any of us can fathom. Yes, if you are willing and able, have as many children as possible. But not because Elon Musk says so.”

Musk has pulled out, as some quipsters satirically defined it, of the deal to buy Twitter because of the lack of full disclosure of the extent of spambots on the platform. Time will tell if that is just a negotiating tactic to get a better price.
