DNC ‘slashing prices’ for photo with Kamala Harris, making VP the one thing ‘immune to inflation’

Kamala Harris could be the only politician in America less popular than Joe Biden, even among Democrats who seem to be metaphorically voting with their wallets.

Democrat organizers purportedly planned to charge a $15,000 to each person who wanted a selfie with the U.S. vice president at an event sponsored by the Democratic National Committee.

That selling point failed to generate enough ticket purchases for the Women’s Leadership Forum, so the confab was reportedly postponed.

In the meantime, attendees at an upcoming California fundraiser reportedly can get a huge discount for posing with the VP.

“VP’s June fundraiser in Cali is charging $5,000 for a photo,” Tara Palmeri of Puck News reported, in what other Twitter users satirically quipped was a “clearance sale” as part of a meet-and-greet in Harris’ home state.

“At a time of record-high inflation with prices soaring across the board, critics had fun with the notion that the only thing that has gotten cheaper during the economic crisis is a photo-op with the VP,” Fox News observed.

“Recent polling shows that more than half (52%) of registered voters in the US currently have an unfavorable opinion of the vice president.  Her approval rating had sunk to a dismal 28% last fall, according to a USA Today-Suffolk University poll,” the New York Post claimed about the word-salad-spewing Democrat politician who has seen numerous staffers in her office head for the exits.

A DNC spokesman told Fox News, “As has always been the case, there are a variety of ticket levels for every event as is pretty standard for finance events. We’ve raised record amounts of money with help from both Vice President Harris and President Biden, so we’re going to continue to do what clearly works well for the party and our donors.”

An RNC official also weighed in: “If ‘Democrats focused on fighting skyrocketing costs facing Americans like they do cutting prices on a photo with Kamala Harris, inflation wouldn’t be a problem.'”

Here is a just a small sample of the ridicule on Twitter about the 66 percent markdown for photos with Kamala Harris, whom Fox News host Tucker Carlson previously likened to a “low-IQ wine mom”:
