Snippy teacher in Hawaii arrested for sharing child pornography after accusing ‘right-wingers’ of same

A trash-talking “socialist high school teacher” who enjoys lecturing conservatives on Twitter about why it’s perfectly OK for teachers to talk to little children about sex has been arrested for distributing child pornography and having sex with a minor, surprise, surprise.

The Hawaii-based teacher, Alden Bunag, has specifically been accused of recording himself having sex with a 13-year-old boy and then distributing the recordings (in addition to other child pornography) to another teacher — surprise, surprise again — in Ohio.

“According to federal court documents, Bunag had been sending child pornography to a teacher in Philadelphia. That teacher was arrested in October. Documents said Bunag and the mainland teacher exchanged over 33 hundred messages, including hundreds of images and video files,” Honolulu station KHON reported Thursday.

Bunag “made his first court appearance on Thursday at the federal courthouse and remains in custody until his next hearing.”

Besides being a typical left-wing teacher, Bunag’s also one with a loud Twitter mouth that he enjoys using to harangue conservatives, particularly those conservatives concerned about teachers talking to little children about sex.

Conservatives argue that teachers talking to little children about sex and sexual orientation amounts to grooming, but Bunag thinks that’s silly.

As to those who try to debate him, he often calls them “Nazis,” “fascists” and “terrorists.” The irony is that his critics would likely rather be called that than be called a pedophile, which it appears is the word that most accurately describes him.

In the thread, he said that conservatives concerned about teachers talking to little children about sex are projecting their pedophilia.

“You’re f–king acting like we want to show kids porn or something, but something I’ve learned through the years is that whenever right-wingers accuse others of something, it’s DEFINITELY because they’re projecting,” he wrote in one tweet.

The irony hasn’t been lost on his many, many, many critics.

According to his former students, Bunag often acted more like a friend than a teacher.

“He was definitely very friendly with all of the kids, especially the male students,” one student told local station KHNL/KGMB.

“I did see the students who [he] had rubbed the backs of and be way too friendly with. I stayed away from him,” another student added.
