‘Today’ marks Father’s Day with article celebration abortion: ‘Straight-up propaganda’

The “Today” show tells dads across America “Happy Father’s Day” with an oxymoronic message to celebrate fathers on potentially the last Father’s Day before the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade and gives the power over abortions back to the states.

“Eight dads share how abortion shaped their lives,” the headline emblazoned across the article posted to their website read.

The author Danielle Campoamor then set out on a wordy journey to explain to her audience how abortion had a positive impact on several men while simultaneously lamenting the potential end to the rein of the landmark Supreme Court decision that has defined abortion as a constitutional right in the United States for decades. For clarity, the males did not have the abortions, their wives and partners with uteruses did.

“Eight dads are sharing how abortion has helped them become the fathers they are today, on what experts believe will likely be the last Father’s Day before the Supreme Court issues a ruling that would overturn Roe v Wade,” the article opened.

“In May, a leaked draft of a Supreme Court opinion on the Mississippi 15-week abortion ban indicated the Court is poised to overturn Roe v Wade, the 1971 Supreme Court decision that established the constitutional right to abortion care,” it read.

“The draft is not a formal decision and the court has not ruled on the Mississippi 15-week abortion ban,” it continued. “Abortion is still legal in all 50 states.”

In an eyebrow-raising take, the “Today” reporter found several men who expressed their gratitude for their wives and girlfriends being able to abort an unborn child.

“If we had not been able to terminate an unwanted pregnancy, we wouldn’t be happily married with a 5-year-old,” Andrew from Washington said. “It would have taken both of our lives in completely different directions.”

Peter from Massachusetts experienced double the abortion education with two partners who each had an abortion. He felt that the first time it enabled him to gain “personal and professional” experiences that he “would not have otherwise been able to gain.”

“The second instance was recently, after already having one child,” he explained. “Although a still difficult decision, I feel it has allowed me to be a better father. The foreseeable exhaustion and resentment and discord that would have come with a second child we weren’t ready for would have come at the detriment to not only me and my wife, but my existing child as well.”

The abortion sales pitch didn’t go over well and some people were poised and ready to call the piece for what it is, “Straight-up propaganda.”

Others thought the piece was satire from the Babylon Bee and congratulated the conservative satire site for having their Twitter account restored.

The message was cause for concern and the “Today” show was urged to seek help after publishing its twisted headline.

Another pointed out that two of the dads’ experiences with abortion weren’t necessarily by choice but rather a medical necessity.

  1. If you weren’t ready to become parents, there was a simple remedy: Give the baby up for adoption. See how easy that was? But, no, all you selfish people had to kill the baby in the womb. You don’t deserve to call yourselves “dads” (and moms).

  2. Sorry men, there’s no other way to say it, as men you STINK! Any man worthy of the name knows what happens when the male apendage gets into the females parts. Therefore a true man, who is not ready to be a dad, does not take that risk, period!

  3. So Andrew, what do you tell your 5 year old son or daughter about the older sibling they will never know because you had him/her murdered? Really you are a sick SOB.

  4. How was Mazza’s action different from ALL BLM members protest/rioters all summer long before J6. Didn’t Kamahoe Harris even bailed them out of jail?
    Two tiered justice system much?

  5. So it’s about me, me, me? Pathetic
Yeah some are glad they got out of making “kid Payments “

  6. So if the children these fathers do have cause some uncomfortable situations or feeling are they going to off them too? 🤨

  7. May have had a “positive impact on several” but of the hundreds of millions aborted, 50% or so were male, and they did not have any kind of ‘positive impact.”

  8. The abortions killed the babies these fathers would have had. Tell me the UP side for the babies. Had the baby makers worn protection, no baby would have been killed to make them “better fathers”

  9. Another good reason why I do not watch the Today Show – that for sure is a slap in the face to every father
