NBC ‘disinformation’ reporter ties parental concern about groomers, drag queens to right-wing extremism

Leftists are in panic mode with the backlash growing against the sexualizing of young children in classrooms by depraved individuals who many have described as groomers as well as the spotlight on drag queen events where kids are present. And with the blowback threatening to engulf the Democratic Party in the midterm elections, a new narrative is needed.

NBC’s Ben Collins, a reporter who covers disinformation, extremism and the internet painted a picture of a mythical war against the LGBTQ+ community that is being waged by right-wing extremists, conflating concerned parents with widely demonized groups such as the Proud Boys and Patriot Front, yet another expansion of the definition of extremism that has already been applied to tens of millions of Trump supporters.

Collins joined MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson on Friday to lay the groundwork for portraying those who are fighting back against perverts as violent domestic extremists by lumping in groomers and their enablers with the larger gay community which the vast majority of Americans have no problem with.

Jackson set the table for her guest by lamenting that “mentions of drag queen story hour on Twitter went up 777 percent in the last month” a number that is indicative of a national awakening to the left’s normalizing of transgender strippers shaking their booties in front of children, which she used as “proof” of the extreme right’s mythical war on homosexuals that Collins conjures up in his latest piece for NBC News.

“So I think a lot of people thought that was a one-and-done thing on Saturday when they saw those 31 masked men pulled out of a U-Haul in Idaho. But it is just the beginning of what these people are trying to pull off,” Collins said, referring to the arrest of so-called white nationalists at a drag queen event in Idaho last week.

“Like you talk about, there was that Proud Boys storming a drag queen story hour in California, but they have been arranging similar things in Texas and Arizona, maybe not at the militia level, but at the personal level, it doesn’t require a whole lot of people to do that,” Collins continued, referring to a group of men who confronted teachers and an alleged pedophile during a drag queen story hour at an Alameda County library. “They’re also sending, you know, a bunch of these people have sent threats to trans rights rallies, one in Georgia, I talked to the organizers, they received one the same night as this bust and had to cancel their event for the next day.”

“This is something you’re seeing increasingly in these spaces. They’re obsessed with this drag queen story hour thing, they are not letting go of it and they are trying to get them canceled,” he continued, not offering any actual context of the outrageous conduct at the events, particularly a show recently held in Dallas that drew national attention for the parading of young children before a neon sign reading “It’s not gonna lick itself!”

Jackson then asked, “How is it that that machine has managed to grow so quickly, even if the last few weeks, the last month?”

Collins responded, “Well, first of all, they’re focused on Pride month, they don’t like the concept that corporations, for example, are backing LGBTQ causes.”

“However, this has been going on for months and months. This whole groomer panic. The idea that for example, Disney movies are grooming children to become gay or trans. This was a big thing in the last few months. The difference is now they are targeting very specific events because it’s Pride month. There are a lot of Pride month events out there hosted by things like local libraries and schools and private companies, as well,” Collins said, omitting a crucial piece of information, Disney employees bragging about using movies to evangelize for queerness.

Collins then likened the pushback against groomers and drag queens to opposition to Critical Race Theory, the virulent anti-white ideology that America is an irredeemably racist nation that was built on the bones of black people.

“The infrastructure of the critical race theory panic where people would find these examples in local schools and they would blow them out of proportion or take them out of context and say this is proof that they’re trying to indoctrinate your children and that’s what happened, there are some accounts that have come out of that and they have shifted their focus entirely to anti-LGBTQ causes,” he said.

“For example, there’s this account called ‘Libs of TikTok’ which is a big driver in the space and they are constantly showing what they believe to be examples of the excesses of the LGBTQ community and adding sentences ‘We live in Hell’ or ‘We are in Hell’ to the end of it and it drives these communities, these anti-trans communities to action. And now they identify very specific events. Coeur D’ Alene was one of those events,” Collins added, dragging in Libs of TikTok which has done much to raise awareness on sexual predators masquerading as teachers.

“The Proud Boys event at the drag queen story hour is another one of those events. They are telling people that these are real-life spaces where these things are happening, that ‘They’re trying to indoctrinate or groom their children in these spaces’ and they want to get those things shut down,” he said, tying concerned parents to the right-wing group.

Whether the Biden administration will act by unleashing the DOJ and FBI on critics of groomers and transgender strippers remains to be seen but the narrative to justify it is already being constructed.

  1. The fact that the left says children are influenced by people such as the far right, yet they aren’t influenced by drag queens stripping? Which is it folks? The answer is kids are influenced by what they are exposed too. If pushed will be deviant based on whom they are around. It’s proven. No one straight or gay or whatever should be exposing children to sex. Period.

  2. How can you call Collins a journalist or the NaziBroadcastingCorporation a news source
    ?

  3. Very recent studies in the UK and other European countries have shown that 99% of monkeypox cases have resulted from gay sex by men.

  4. I too am against this woke stuff – sexualizing young children, exposing them to sick and demented drag queens, and claiming white people at all racist. I guess I’m a violent (not) domestic extremist and darn proud.

  5. Hallie Jackson is an ignorant asshat for attempting to connect “white supremacy”, distrust of leftist education’s non-age-appropriate indoctrination of young school children, and the questioning of the value of drag queen infusion into “education” into one lump and calling it extremism. Shame on her for her willful ignorance!

  6. These depraved drag queen pedophiles should all be run out of the country, at the very least!!
