‘The leash is off’: Abortion activists behind attacks on pro-lifers issue new threats, promise worse violence

A statement that appears to be from the violent pro-abortion group Jane’s Revenge was posted online Tuesday, saying “the leash is off” for attacks on pro-life operations and declaring violence until pro-life groups shut down.

The statement was posted to Abolition Media, an “online news source for revolutionary movements,” and promised violent attacks on pro-life organizations such as crisis pregnancy centers.

“We promised to take increasingly drastic measures against oppressive infrastructures,” the statement said. “Rest assured that we will, and those measures may not come in the form of something so easily cleaned up as fire and graffiti. Sometimes you will see what we do, and you will know that it is us. Sometimes you will think you merely are unlucky, because you cannot see the ways which we interfere in your affairs.”

Jane’s Revenge appeared to take credit for a Molotov cocktail attack on the offices of Wisconsin Family Action in May. Numerous other pregnancy centers have been attacked, including the Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center which was recently vandalized in June with “Jane says revenge” spray-painted on the building.

“Our recourse now is to defend ourselves and to build robust, caring communities of mutual aid, so that we may heal ourselves without the need of the medical industry or any other intermediary,” the statement reads. “Through attacking, we find joy, courage, and strip the veneer of impenetrability held by these violent institutions.”

Another pregnancy center was vandalized with the words “Jane’s revenge” and “If abortion isn’t safe, you aren’t either” in Lynwood, Washington, in May. Oregon Right to Life, a pro-life organization in Salem, Oregon, was attacked with Molotov cocktails last month.

The statement comes after the group apparently posted a statement to Abolition Media on May 12 calling for pro-life groups to close their doors within the next 30 days, citing low “patience and mercy” for groups attempting to take away what “little autonomy” they have left.

The group also posted a statement following the vandalization of several pro-life churches in Olympia, Washington, saying “it’s easy and fun to attack.”

The Department of Justice did not immediately respond to The Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

  1. Contrary to popular opinion , we do not own our own bodies. The true owner of them has granted us rent free dominion over them with one stipulation which is to treat it with respect. Im tired of hearing women say “Its my body!” Just remember , the owner of your body can evict you anytime he wishes. P.S. There isnt any appeal proceedings after the fact. You can play your intellectual games all you want. It wont change the facts. You do not and will not have the last word. If you want to argue with God, you better be standing on solid ground. As per my recollection , Moses was the only one who argued with God and got away with it and that was by offering an ultimatum of placing himself on the alter for God to slay along with the rest of Israel.

  2. If this does not meet the definition of TERRORIST I have no idea what would constitute “domestic terrorist”

  3. Just to state the obvious, these cowards wouldn’t be making much news if the people in power were actually upholding the law. I’ve already said the rule of law benefits criminals as well, since a court and legal system can keep him from suffering a fate worse than death at the hands of those who he wronged. I don’t wish anything like that to happen to anyone. Nevertheless, if things go as they have been, the smart money is that they’ll get their due from someone else, and they won’t like it.

    1. Once in a while karma skips its obligations to society. Pardon me if I dont rely on it extensively or exclusively.

      1. I’m not talking about karma, and so I’m not relying on it, let alone extensively or exclusively. If “the law” won’t do its job, other people are going to, and it will get worse. That seems a basic point, and I think I expressed that rather clearly by saying “someone else” rather than “something else”.

  4. Yet our leftist Government gives these people resources to go out and commit violence and promote the murder of infants.

    1. The people crying about how restricting abortion access is a form of “violence” don’t know the meaning of the word. Maybe they’re too stupid to grasp it, given what “edumacation” has been doing to people for the past few years while the world slept.

      1. That excuse is extremely obtuse and ambiguous to say the least. Its like blaming a car whose driver gets drunk and has a crash while under the influence. The car wasnt at fault. It just obeyed its master at the wheel. Its also just like blaming the gun by someone who robbed a bank and shoots someone in the process. You dont see cars being confiscated . They suspend peoples licenses. If their caught again they should be in at least 3 times as much trouble. That is unless its done while under the Biden Admin DOJ and police force. Then their just let go without reprisal.

        1. In my view, saying they’re stupid doesn’t do anything to lessen their culpability, so please don’t say I’m giving them an excuse (especially since we both know if it were one, they wouldn’t accept it).
