Stelter ‘down to weeks if not days’ at CNN, causing internal turmoil at network, source claims

CNN host Brian Stelter may be in search of new employment if a recent rumor turns out to be true.

According to Jon Nicosia, who has held managing editing positions at publications such as Mediaite, Independent Journal Review and the Washington Examiner, a “source” claims that Stelter’s days are numbered at the outlet as it seeks to polish its image in the wake of Jeff Zucker’s resignation.

“SOURCE: Stelter is ‘down to weeks if not days’ left at CNN. They go on ‘He is everything that reminds the new owners of the Zucker era they desperately want to get past’ – More to come,” Nicosia tweeted Wednesday.

A follow-up tweet claimed, “Management is confident Stelter is the one sharing the internal pushback to fellow media reporters while simultaneously stirring discontent within the ranks.”

While nothing is confirmed beyond the claims of anonymous sources, this new information is in keeping with CNN’s new shift in outlook.

As American Wire previously reported, CNN’s new boss Chris Licht is reportedly discouraging hosts from continuously using the phrase “the big lie” to describe former President Donald Trump’s claims that the 2020 election was stolen. Though this was not mandated among the staff, Licht’s preferences may very well become law at a time when it’s clear jobs are on the line.

Social media was quick to react to the news Stelter may be gracing unemployment lines in the near future:

  1. This potato head should have been drop kicked yrs ago.
He absolutely stinks. Very ignorant ,derogatory attitude.
His face is not a face most people like .
Reminds me of the fat boy in grade school that got beat up every recess.
I suspect it’ll be a tough road for him to be rehired at the wage he got a cnn.
Good luck to him ? Nope .

  2. Now they need to clean the organization. All it does is sit out liberal fantasy lies.

  3. Well, at least there is some good news today. I never watch CNN, but it makes me smile to hear this joker may get canned. I hear MSDNC may be hiring.

  4. Stelter is a jerk and a twerp. Im sure its always been that way. Ill bet that even his highschool schoolmates are laughing their heads off at him again. All I have to say about him leaving is “BYE”! But I do like hearing the news about the new CEOs orders to have his employees stop calling the fraud election , the Big Lie. Maybe hes privy to information that we dont have. Lets hope. It would be great if this wet dream came true and they found out with unquestionable proof that it was stolen. What would even be better would be if they connected Killary and Nasty Nancy and Biden in the act of a 3some espinionage scheme. Everyone knows they stole the election. Even the ones who say opposite. Talk about organized crime.

  5. I think it is time cnn purge itself of all it’s hired racist, fear mongers, and perverts

    1. The female ones I defiantly couldn’t stand was the blond eye lash flapper ,
The blond bitch on days that demeaned everyone , real Trump hater.
Really ? They all stank , we tuned out 9yrs ago .
Snuffeloffagus , blitzer was another Bullshit Trump hater .
Cuomo was the king of pricks . Homo lemmonaid wasn’t far away .
      Good riddance to cnn .

  6. “without Stelter it won’t be CNN anymore”….uhh, I think it hasn’t been CNN for a very, very long time now. Maybe with some strategic house cleaning they can salvage the badly damaged network and keep it from sinking all the way to the bottom. Probably not though, as they’ve done a lot of damage to the trust of the American people in recent years. Going to be hard to dig themselves out of the propaganda hole that they’ve been digging.

  7. Oh! I did not know he was a news reporter, I thought he was a falsifier, fabricator, deceiver, prevaricator, and difficult to look at to even care what or who he (it) was. If CNN dusts him away, then CNN will show it is evolving to a creditable to news agency.

  8. Don or Brian, Oh, which one to keep. Are we into Fruits this week or Flakes. What a dilemma for CNN. Then comes the third impossible option, Acosta. Wow, what a decision.

    1. Winkin , blinkin and nod. Tweedly du Tweedly Dumb and Tweedly Dumber. Three men( I use the word loosely) in a row boat without any oars while heading straight towards the worlds tallest waterfall. May they go sky diving and forget the chutes. Go swim with the sharks. Buh Bye!

  9. Where does a balding, chubby, lying little piece of trash with a voice as high as a noon whistle go when it all catches up with you. Off to Hollywood doing voice overs for Disney or maybe Disney world playing goofy with his woke buddies.

  10. Stelter is a prime example of the Peter Principle at work in the msm, as, CNN has consistently rewarded him for complete incompetence, along with his endless mendacity.

  11. Clean house and start over. In time, the network may earn a good reputation.
