George Conway, the husband (?) of former Trump senior advisor Kellyanne Conway, is calling for an end to Special Counsel John Durham’s probe into the criminal origins of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax.
“I hope it’s headed into the trash can. The Justice Department should put an end to this ridiculous investigation now. This case was a joke,” Conway told MSNBC. “There was nothing here to begin with.”
His statements come in the wake of Democratic Party and Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann being found not guilty of lying to the FBI. George Conway thinks that the dubious verdict invalidates the entire Durham probe since Sussmann was a key figure in the investigation into the FBI’s colluding with the Democratic Party to subject former President Donald Trump and his administration to an ongoing and hampering “witch hunt.”
Conway, whose expertise on such matters is debatable, claims that Durham’s probe was “designed to get a bunch of stuff out into the public domain to get people excited,” and that it was “a sideshow.” He also claimed, strangely, that the probe didn’t “cast any doubt” at all on the legitimacy of the investigation into Trump’s alleged ties to Russia, which notoriously fizzled out in the embarrassing Mueller debacle.
It sounds like Conway doth protest too much.
Meanwhile, the Durham probe doesn’t seem to be the only thing that Conway thinks is coming to an end. During an interview with CBS Mornings to promote her new memoir “Here’s the Deal,” the diminutive attorney’s more famous wife, Kellyanne Conway, all but put a fork in their marriage and declared it “done.”
During the interview, Gayle King read aloud a passage from Kellyanne’s memoir: “the man you thought had your back ended up stabbing you in the back.”
“Isn’t that unfortunate,” Kellyanne Conway replied. “I think women can relate to that, but this was next level. And I’ll say this. George Conway’s vows are not to Donald Trump. He doesn’t owe loyalty or fealty to a political party or a certain president. That was to me and to honor and cherish.”
George Conway famously spent Trump’s presidency criticizing his wife’s boss on social media, instead of keeping his mouth shut and showing her a modicum of respect. After all, according to Kellyanne Conway, it was her husband who had introduced her to Trump in the first place.
“George changed his mind about President Trump,” she told Gayle King in the interview. “He’s welcome to do that, but it was very unlike George to be so publicly bombastic.”
“Did your marriage survive?” King asked.
Kellyanne Conway’s answer wasn’t exactly a firm “yes,” but she did say she and her children did spend the Memorial Day holiday with Conway. Cohost Jeff Glor then observed that Kellyanne wasn’t wearing a wedding ring.
“He doesn’t either,” she replied, with a smile.

Kellyanne does not deserve this crap from her spousal unit. She seems to be an honorable gal- I suspect she remains legally married for the “sake” of her children. It angers me to see this man being so disrespectful to his wife. I don’t get why people would care about this blow-hard nobody? Kellyanne deserves a man who loves her. She is a class act.

IMO, George was very jealous of the position Kellyanne was in, and he couldn’t help but stab her in the back. IMO, he’s a very poor excuse for a husband. I also think he was working on the daughter and that was the reason for her attitude, trying to turn her against her mother. And he was in that disgusting bunch that called themselves the “Lincoln Project,” you know the one who had a pedophile as a member! IMO, George is a very “small” man.
Though I cannot begin to imagine what their home life must have been like, she should have divorced him years ago… his public bombast and openly hate-filled rhetoric against President Trump was shameful and totally disrespectful to Kellyanne, and was incredibly abusive, often placing her in very difficult positions publicly before the entire world…
People like George Conway provide honest and civil people a reason to hope President Trump runs and wins again in ’24… and cleans up Biden’s God-awful mess, just like he cleaned up so much of Obama’s… and so far, there doesn’t appear to be anyone better, or more qualified to do it…
Kellyanne should have end the marriage to that “fat slob” years ago, that’s like not flush feces in your toilet.
George is way outclassed by his wife, who is careful about how she refers to their personal situation. His public statements are both disrespectful and inconsiderate of Kellyanne. He is also showing himself to be an intolerant and very small-minded man by persisting in making such statements and openly disparaging her. He doesn’t deserve a loyal, open-minded, considerate and intelligent wife like her.
George has hair like Shemp from the three stooges, except he is a fat ass.. s as bd s liberal communist as are his buddies.
