Nancy Pelosi’s husband arrested for DUI in Napa, Twitter uncorks brutal response

Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s multi-millionaire husband Paul Pelosi was arrested for driving under the influence late Saturday night near the couple’s sprawling Napa Valley estate, being taken into custody by the California Highway Patrol after he was found to have a blood alcohol limit in excess of what is allowable under the law.

The 82-year-old spouse of the most powerful female politician in U.S. history was popped a few minutes short of midnight and booked a little over four hours later on two misdemeanor charges, driving under the influence along with driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 or higher. His bail was set at $5,000 according to information posted online from the Napa County Criminal Justice Network.

The news of Pelosi’s arrest was first reported by TMZ.

Details of the intervention by law enforcement as well as Mr. Pelosi’s mugshot were not currently available, Madame Speaker was out of town at the time of her husband’s arrest.

Nancy Pelosi was on the east coast where she delivered the commencement address at Brown University, she made no mention of the incident during her speech to the Ivy League students.

A spokesperson for Mrs. Pelosi told CBS News, “The Speaker will not be commenting on this private matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast.”

As could be expected, the Twitter response was absolutely savage as users uncorked their takes.

“In Paul Pelosi’s defense, if you were married to Nancy Pelosi, you’d probably be an alcoholic too,” wrote one user.

Other frothy reactions to the news.

The power couple has had amazing success in accumulating mountains of money through the stock market, seeming to “always know what the right investment is” as they have accumulated over $315,000,000 in wealth as of 2020, far exceeding the chump change of Madame Speaker’s salary as a public servant.

Her hubby’s DUI bust will likely only confirm the suspicions of those who have long harbored suspicions that Pelosi is a hardcore juicer who recently drew criticism over the new liquor store for House members who can have their favorite alcoholic libations delivered to them in their offices. Ted Kennedy would be proud.

Nancy and Paul Pelosi were married in 1963.

  1. If I woke up with her the next morning on a fling with her on my arm .
I’d chew my arm off to see that toothless ,boob implanted ,blown lips ,
Double eyebrowed bitch to get away .
    What a nightmare !

  2. If I were her husband and say her a night in bed ,I’d throw up first then go downstairs and sit down with a 40 pounder .

  3. More to the story– He crashed into someone else’s Jeep. The Jeep driver was not arrested. Gonna be a tad harder to bury the story now.

  4. Nancy appears to be drunk all the time. Perhaps Paul was just playing “catch up” with the old gal.

  5. I hope they follow this . I would love to see if he gets off or what charge’s he gets.

  6. Wait – Mr. Nancy Pelosi wasn’t driving an American union-made EV? Or is it just we serfs that supposed to drive Chevy Bolts?

  7. Nancy is the prime example of insider trading tucked neatly inside legal bounds. Still unethical to the max. Shame on her

  8. general concensus accurate, to be married to that–drinking is mandatory.

    widow of RET/DAV/USA

  9. Let’s start a impeachment proceedings, she believes in guilt by association, she is married to the drunk.

  10. Nancy Pelosi is the mob daughter of Big Tommy Alessandro before she turned Commie and staring sleeping with JFK. She was friends with all Communist subversives in Washington D.C. including Harry Hay, Harvey Milk, Gus Hall et al. Not 1 major licensed news agency told you the truth? I wonder why? 🤔

  11. Being that their combined net worth was reported to be (meerly) $200M according to filings just 11 short months ago and the tech sector which Paul is heavily invested in has performed dismally during that time; one’s left to wonder how their net worth has exploded 50% during the last year. California real estate has done well but not THAT well.

  12. If Pelosi were a Republican, the demands for a Special Prosecutor would have started by now…tomorrow Congressional hearings would begin.

  13. 82 years old and driving is bad enough-but DUI??? That whole family is a dysfunctional and corrupt mess.

  14. Clearly, the car is at fault. I bet the car had a fully automatic transmission and more than three gears. No one needs more than three gears, those should be reserved for the police and military. Those types of cars should be banned for civilian use.—or something.

    1. lol! Yes, it probably was one of THOSE cars, the gasoline kind. AHHHH, horrors! If this guy was a republican the twitter mob and the gay, BLM activists and all the other communists (that never work so they can go to protests), would all descend on Pelosi’s home and vineyard to protest the use of a fossil fuel NON green vehicle.

Since he’s a Dem nothing will come of it, MOVE ALONG NOW, NOTHING TO SEE HERE.

  15. And who said politics doesn’t pay! Obama is another prime example. Most politicians are crooked as a dog’s hind leg. FNP and Obama!!!!!

  16. Who can blame that crook from having a few too many being married to a drunken crazy ding bat all these years ??😜

  17. So we now have a congressional liquor store. How convenient? It’s not bad enough that these people are drunk on power. FJB

  18. Have no fear, there’s plenty of room under that carpet for more dirt from these two.

  19. C’mon. Give Paul a break. If you were married to Nancy, wouldn’t you be drinking too?!

  20. Was it 12 of 4am, I’ve read both! Was it a dui or did he have an accident and the dui was a side note? The only ones worse than the weatherman is a journalist! Couldn’t tell you the truth if they knew it!

  21. Although the media will attempt to bury this, it would be a good idea to keep an eye on this case and see if he does any jail time, especially since he caused a wreck!
California Vehicle Code § 23536(a) If a person is convicted of a first violation of Section 23152 , that person shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than 96 hours, at least 48 hours of which shall be continuous, nor more than six months, and by a fine of not less than three hundred ninety dollars ($390), nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000).
    (b) The court shall order that a person punished under subdivision (a), who is to be punished by imprisonment in the county jail, be imprisoned on days other than days of regular employment of the person, as determined by the court. If the court determines that 48 hours of continuous imprisonment would interfere with the person’s work schedule, the court shall allow the person to serve the imprisonment whenever the person is normally scheduled for time off from work. The court may make this determination based upon a representation from the defendant’s attorney or upon an affidavit or testimony from the defendant.
    (c) The person’s privilege to operate a motor vehicle shall be suspended by the department under paragraph (1) of subdivision (a) of Section 13352 or Section 13352.1 . The court shall require the person to surrender the driver’s license to the court in accordance with Section 13550 .
    (d) Whenever, when considering the circumstances taken as a whole, the court determines that the person punished under this section would present a traffic safety or public safety risk if authorized to operate a motor vehicle during the period of suspension imposed under paragraph (1) of subdivision (a) of Section 13352 or Section 13352.1 , the court may disallow the issuance of a restricted driver’s license required under Section 13352.4 .

  22. I bet she is going to rip him a new one! Many people get a much higher bond than he did. Funny how they won’t arrest him on insider trading – both him and his wife…

But then again they would have to prosecute most of congress. If I were Martha Stewart I would be screaming about this! They need to be prosecuted

  23. A few weeks from now it will be announced the breathalyzer was malfunctioning on the night of pelosi’s arrest and the charges have been dropped.

What won’t be announced is that the trooper who dared humiliate the pelosi family was transferred from Napa Valley to Death Valley.

    1. Seems odd that, as a rule, headlines lead with the blood alcohol level, this was conspicuously missing from the article. indicating that it is already being treated with kid gloves.
That and this won’t go to trial, his lawyer will appear, on his behalf and cut a deal, as the judge is likely is neighbor and drinking buddy, not to mention the fact that nephew Newsom could pardon Pelosi!
As for Pelosi’s statement that she will not be commenting on the incident, as it is a personal matter, no it is not, the charges will be the State of California v Paul Pelosi, which makes it very much a public issue!

  24. Ran across a funny article from the left. He was arrested for suspected DUI. Guess he will get out of this one. After all his wife is drunk with power.
