New NBC poll shows 75 percent say country is on wrong track, transgenderism also takes a hit

Americans are increasingly concerned that the country has gone completely off the rails as the catastrophic failures of President Joe Biden continue to manifest themselves in skyrocketing food costs, record gas prices and an unprecedented baby formula shortage among other issues that have the mood of the electorate turning increasingly sour in a critical election year for Democrats.

A stunning 75 percent believe that the nation is “off on the wrong track” with 3 out of 4 people surveyed in a just-released poll expressing deep concerns about the rapidly deteriorating situation with no relief in sight, and the White House and the political establishment giving the appearance of being indifferent to their suffering with no end in sight.

According to the poll of 1,000 U.S. adults who were surveyed by NBC News, only 16 percent are satisfied with the direction of the country in what should be a flashing warning sign to Democrats who, instead of addressing the serious economic concerns of families battered by the erosion of their purchasing power, appear to be determined to double-down on abortion and gun control to energize their fanatical base for the midterms.

Perhaps more troublesome for Democrats and their “woke” agenda, the poll also shows that Americans are increasingly expressing a view that acceptance and accommodation of transgenderism has gone too far, another indication that the tide may be turning as sunlight continues to be shed on the sexual indoctrination of young kids in the nation’s classrooms by groomers and their leftist enablers.

The poll shows that a third of those surveyed believe that America has gone too far in addressing the concerns of transgenders, a minuscule but highly-organized and extremely vocal minority, a significant drop from the last time that the outlet polled on the question.

NBC’s flagship Sunday morning program “Meet The Press” put it in perspective: “That wrong-track number has been 70-plus for SEVEN months, which —in the past — has signaled big losses for the governing party.”

“And Biden’s numbers have hit a *new* low,” MTP stated on Twitter, and horror of horrors, “In fact, the president has become as unpopular as Donald Trump in this poll.”

There was, however, a silver lining for Democrats.

“BUT abortion is now center stage,” the outlet announced. “60% say abortion should be legal all or most of the time — the highest ever in our polls — versus 37% who say it should illegal all or most of the time.”

“And abortion has now become the TOP issue for single-issue voters,” an ominous message for all Americans who are concerned with kitchen table issues that help is NOT on the way from the White House and the dominant party that controls everything but the Supreme Court.

According to the results, 35 percent of those polled feel that the nation has not gone far enough to appease transgenders whole 25 percent responded that a reasonable balance has been reached in ending discrimination against the very special demographic.

The poll may be bad news for Biden but is likely only worse news for struggling Americans with Democrats receiving confirmation that their focus on abortion is going to be a winner at the polls.
