It has now become clear that Democrats are going to use the emotional issue of abortion rights to push the buttons of their maniacal base as the party’s new strategy for this November’s midterms begins to take shape and the former head of Planned Parenthood let the cat out of the bag.
The publication of a leaked Supreme Court draft opinion written by conservative Justice Samuel Alito that seems to suggest that Roe v. Wade may be overturned has been seized upon by the White House, congressional Democrats and their media mouthpieces as a smokescreen to distract from President Joe Biden’s failures as the party seeks a spark to energize their armies of activists in a frantic effort to stave off what are widely expected to be deep losses that could abort the advancement of the left’s transformational agenda.
On Wednesday, Biden smeared Republicans who he derisively called the “MAGA crowd” as the “most extreme political organization that’s existed in American history,” a talking point that was repeated by MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace who hosted Cecile Richards, Planned Parenthood’s former president whom she asked whether she agreed with the president’s assessment.
“Well, I certainly agree with that, that characterization, and I agree, Nicole that this is a seismic shift,” Richards said.
“I don’t think any of us have ever experienced the loss of a constitutional right,” she said, misleadingly suggesting that abortion itself could be banned, “and many, many people in this country have never known a world where people couldn’t make decisions about their pregnancy and that it somehow became the role of the government to tell you what to do when you’re pregnant, so I don’t think we can gloss over it, and I don’t think though, and actually, I should say one of the problems we have seen and this is certainly true in the state of Texas is that when you empower the fringe of your party, you can’t just stop.”
Of course, her referring to pro-life conservatives as the “fringe” is not only a bald-faced fib but also completely ignores the fact that Democrats have unleashed the real fringe by empowering hateful and violent extremists like Antifa and other thugs who have terrorized decent citizens and destroyed property with little consequence since the summer of 2020.
Richards continued, “You can’t just say, okay, job done, you have to keep feeding the beast and that’s why we see in Texas, book banning and we see attacks on transgender children and their families,” referring to parental rights laws that have banned perverts and groomers from preying on young children in classrooms, a reprehensible practice that is supported by the White House, congressional Democrats, celebrities and major corporations including Disney.
“The Republican Party in Texas has no agenda for the future, they are just obsessing on issues that can kind of feed their base, so I think that’s going to continue,” she said with no mention of the irony that Democrats are doing exactly that with their strident demagoguery on abortion and the Supreme Court.
“They’re going to go after birth control,” she claimed. “They’ll go after emergency contraception and on and on and on.”
“What I do think that people aren’t anticipating is that assuming that this decision or this opinion, in fact, is issued, that will simply be the beginning of what is going to be a cascading series of states that are going to then implement abortion bans and so it’s not going to be a one-day story as I think the Republican has hoped or that somehow this leak would be the only story because women are going to begin to go into panic all across the country,” she said in a tipoff that Democrats and the media will be ramping up the hysteria all the way to the midterms.
“Doctors are going to now be arrested,” she claimed, “people are going to be turned in and so, and you know, because we know all the trigger bans etcetera, this is a story that will continue.”
“So even if you talk about all of the other potential issues about the Supreme Court and I think there are, and usually women or abortion rights are sort of the tip of the spear, this is a story that is continue through November,” Richards summed it up, “and on because there are too many states that have too many laws on the books that again, will begin to roll into effect and the stories will begin to come out. That’s what I anticipate.”
The shift to abortion is a sign that Ukraine has failed to appeal to the emotions of leftists outside of hardcore activists and the media, and that the propaganda about the “Putin price hike” to gaslight Americans over record gas prices and staggering inflation has also bombed. The party is now staking its future on the defense of the killing of the unborn and who better to state their case than the former head of an organization that butchers babies.
