A northern California man is facing charges that he coerced more than 80 minor children into making pornographic videos, law enforcement authorities said.

Demetrius Carl Davis, 24, was arrested by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office following an investigation that found media on his computers and cell phones that confirmed their suspicions. Davis allegedly posed online as a girl named “Lizzy” and lured children ages 6 to 13 to perform sex acts with other children and often with their own siblings, sheriff’s office spokesperson Sgt. Rod Grassmann revealed.

“What’s particularly heinous about this is that this grooming led up to our suspect asking these children to perform sexual acts on their siblings, other relatives and other kids that they know and film it and then send that video to our suspect,” Grassmann said in a video address.

Davis reportedly possessed multiple accounts on a variety of social media platforms and is believed to have been in contact with over 100 children both in the U.S. and abroad between late 2020 and December 2021. Based on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, police executed a search warrant at Davis’s home in December where they seized “numerous” devices containing recordings of the sexual videos.

“At that time, we did not have enough evidence to arrest him on site, but we took all those electronics,” Grassmann explained. “Over the last several months, we have forensically analyzed all of those and have identified 80 different victims and an additional 15 to 20 internationally, which we have not identified yet.”

Grassmann added the Department of Homeland Security is working to identify the international victims that Davis may have coerced. “Like I said, we have identified 80 individual victims, and I’m certain that we will have more,” he predicted.

Davis allegedly would use “sexually explicit language” and send his would-be victims pornographic films involving children in order to establish a rapport. His initial arrest was on the suspicion of committing lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14, Fox News reported.

According to Fox 40, the sheriff’s department lists the victims in the United States as hailing from Alabama, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.

Grassmann warned parents of the dangers of anonymous internet communications and encouraged them to be more active in monitoring their children’s activity.

“Every electronic device connected to the internet is like an open window to the entire world. You have no idea who is talking to your child,” he said.

KXTV Sacramento reports that deputies are asking parents to check their children’s electronic devices and contact the Sacramento Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force if they think their child sent any illicit material to someone named “Lizzy.” They can be reached at 916-874-3002 or [email protected].

  1. You online hookers think you can advertise on any site you want. Take your SMUT and put it on porn sites where it belongs.

  2. This more confirms that parents uses public school as a free babysitting service, with the lock down, no one is watching the kids. After last two years of no school, we will have a generation of lost children with inadequate education, because they missed out a window for learning.

  3. Leave it to democrats, especially the California democrats to try and remove the funding from groups like this! Evidently monsters like this criminal aren’t the only danger to our young children. Parents beware and take steps, and while you’re at it vote Republican next time and demand “clean and non-corruptable” elections.

    1. Huh ? Looks like a Dim honky to me .
