Trump dishes on whether he’d return to Twitter if Musk purchases the platform

Supporters of billionaire Elon Musk’s proposal to purchase social media giant Twitter indicate that free speech is the number one thing on their minds, with many hoping to see a reinstatement of former President Donald Trump’s account.

Unfortunately, Trump doesn’t have any intention of going back to Twitter even if he is released from his permanent ban. He explained his reasoning to Americano Media during an interview.

“Recently the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, took 9.2% of Twitter’s stock making him its largest shareholder. If he were to reinstate your Twitter account, Mr. President, would you resume tweeting? And what would be your first tweet?” asked Maria Herrera Mellado for the network.

“Well I’m doing a big account now, we’re doing a big platform right now, so I probably wouldn’t have any interest. Twitter’s become very boring. They’ve gotten rid of a lot of good voices on Twitter, a lot of their conservative voices,” he admitted.

“It used to be a war on Twitter, but it was a very interesting war…Mentally, we had some pretty good fights. We would go after the progressives, who I call the un-progressives.”

Trump was referring to Truth Social, which has been plagued with technical difficulties since its launch. It appears, though, that Trump has not given up on it.

Moving on from the topic, the host asked him point-blank if he’s going to be running for the presidency again in 2024, citing massive Hispanic voter interest.

Playing it coy, Trump only noted that “I’ll tell you this, I think a lot of people are going to be happy. I’ll announce it after the midterms.”

  1. I do not know how it is all going to come together, one thing I do know and that is our Country cannot survive another 2 1/2 years of Biden or any DEM for that matter!

We are drowning each and every day, the DEMS are making sure of it!

The entire world is depending on us to overthrow this illegitimate Marxist regime

  2. As I expected, in the rush to choke the internet with “free speech” sites, we’ve forgotten it’s all supposed to be for the nation’s benefit. Instead, it’s now a damned COMPETITION among Patriots! It divides us instead of giving us a common meeting place!
One of the Left’s most successful systems is their “talking points memo” that gives completely consistent messaging across all venues! The Democrats don’t have competing memos! They are wise in this regard.
If I were a Dem Operative, I would suggest exactly what is happening now! I’d flood the web with competing “Conservative” sites, to muddle the effort and DIVIDE the attention! Sure, throw another one out there! Create another obstacle in the path of a cohesive effort and understanding.
Enemy inspired or just boasting and foolishness, the result is the same for America! The Left sings with one note. The Right is mired in this competitive platform, and now EGO thing that keeps us scattered and without a badly needed COMMAND CENTER.
An army cannot march effectively with multiple drummers!

    1. We do need more than one free speech platform to keep each other in check just like the many dem. platforms keep each other towing the line. This line towing is even more visible in main stream media where each are using the same wording on a subject.
One person may not like Twitter because of it’s corrupt past. Another may not like Truth Social because of it’s direct Trump connection. The important thing is getting the truth out for people to see.
Trump should use both or multiple sites on occasion just as he did Twitter and FB.

      1. I agree. It is important to create new spaces as well as to wrestle corrupt sites (like Twitter) from the hands of those who quash freedom of speech. There are multiple liberal platforms, so their should be multiple conservative ones as well.

Multiple sites makes it less easy for Leftists to destroy all modes of communication. We all saw what they did in colluding to silence President Trump as well as other notable conservative voices. That can NEVER be allowed to happen again. We need more speech, not less.
