He may not have had to be whisked away to safety by a police escort like Allen West was during an appearance on a college campus but Senator Ted Cruz was taken aback by an uncouth and disrespectful question from a Yale University student as to whether he would engage in a homosexual act if it would bring an end to a global humanitarian crisis.
The Texas Republican visited the Ivy League institution to record a live episode of his podcast “The Verdict” with co-host and conservative commentator Michael Knowles along with special guest Liz Wheeler where they discussed the confirmation of newly minted Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson as well as the assault on free speech when a young man in the audience popped his shocking question.
After introducing himself as Evan, the student asked Cruz, “Assuming it would end global hunger, would you fellate another man?” a query that some in the crowd found to be very humorous.
What the hell? This is coming from America’s brightest?

Knowles jumped in to spare the sitting U.S. Senator from having to reply to a foul attention-seeker who was well beneath his dignity.
“You know, there’s a line in “American Psycho” about that Yale thing, I think that’s what our questioner is alluding to,” a reference to the controversial novel by Bret Easton Ellis that got the big-screen treatment with a young Christian Bale playing the title character.
“Like a typical left-wing undergraduate, you are engaging in consequentialist ethics,” Knowles said. “You are attempting to justify flagrantly immoral behavior to achieve a good end, and I tell you, my friend, the ends do not justify the means, absolutely not,” he chuckled.
Cruz took over, turning the tables on Evan.
“I am curious with that young fellow, if it would solve world hunger would you vote for Donald Trump?” The witty response drew laughter from the audience.
Twitter reacted to the Yale student’s stunt.
that question doesn’t deserve the dignity of a response.

What a trifling ass question.

I assume this was asked by a member of the White House press corps

Ridiculous question and shame on the student who asked it…

What a stupid question. If they had the power to “solve world hunger” then why wait on Ted Cruz? And what means do they believe would “solve world hunger”? Marxism? Rapid depopulation through immoral practices?

The Yale Student is wasting a good opportunity to ask a serious with an Elite Panel and is wasting everyone’s time

Cruz has taken a beating from the leftist mob who were furious that he dared to grill President Joe Biden’s prized SCOTUS nominee with tough questions about her views on Critical Race Theory as well as her leniency for perverts trading child pornography on the internet and then had to watch as three fellow Senate Republicans, Mitt Romney, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski join Democrats in rewarding her with a lifetime job on the nation’s highest court.
