UN report details guide on ‘halting global warming,’ Sec Gen Guterres calls on nations to ‘walk the talk’

The United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is set to announce their outline of actions governments must take toward the goal of “halting global warming” which, if agreed to, could have staggering negative impacts on American sovereignty and individual freedoms.

The latest climate report is the third installment of a three-part series that the IPCC has compiled making it the sixth such assessment in the global organization’s history. The first two parts were released earlier this year and contained the typical dire warnings of impending doom.

As reported, following the last IPCC report in 2014, “The panel’s report described major additional risks in the decades to come, particularly between the years 2040 and 2100,” and in summary, “Climate change and related extreme events will significantly increase ill health and premature deaths from the near- to long-term.”

Citing scientific-based “climate change policies” and “Sustainable Development Goals” composed by volunteers neutral to those policy choices, the reality is the U.N. has been anything but neutral in their posturing on this issue.

U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres made clear Friday that this report was not meant to be just a resource to consider, but a mandatory rubric that “every business, investor, city, state and region” must obey.

“To avert a climate catastrophe, we need bold pledges but matched by concrete, measurable action,” Guterres said as he announced his “Expert Group.”

“Tougher net-zero standards and strengthened accountability around the implementation of these commitments can deliver real and immediate emissions cuts,” he said.

“Governments have the lion’s share of responsibility to achieve net-zero emissions by mid-century. Especially the G20,” the announcement stated. “But we also urgently need every business, investor, city, state and region to walk the talk on their net-zero promises.”

While the press release discusses the alleged “worsening climate crisis” in the favored language of activists, quantifying “a race against time to limit global heating to 1.5 degrees” with a “gender-balanced” team “from a diverse group of countries and regions,” the reality is that the governing body is openly pushing to end fossil fuels.

“We need urgent, transformative efforts from all countries to eliminate coal & stop expanding oil & gas exploration to keep warming to 1.5 degrees,” Guterres wrote on the day of his announcement as he claimed fossil fuel “addiction” is “killing us.”

IPCC Vice-Chair Professor Jean-Pascal van Yspersele explained that the report is meant to protect the objectives of the Paris Accords that former President Donald Trump famously withdrew the United States from.

Claiming that the treaty, which was not ratified by Congress, gave the United States, “the ability to invest in ourselves and build an equitable, clean energy future, and, in the process, create millions of good-paying jobs and opportunities around the world,” President Joe Biden neglected to address the negative impact it would have on our economy as we are witnessing now with the reduction in oil supply with no infrastructure to support the change.

He also failed to indicate that after Trump withdrew from the climate agreement, greenhouse gas emissions fell to their lowest level since 1983 while oil and gas production grew enough to attain status as a net exporter of energy.

The report is expected to be released late Monday after an initial deadline for Friday was unattainable with negotiations stretching into the weekend.

  1. They are increasing their efforts to bankrupt the US and other wealthy nations now because the sun’s activity is waning now. This means that we will soon be in global cooling again. Then they will, once again be screaming about a new ice age coming. The goal is One World Government with the super wealthy oligarchs at the top and the rest of us as serfs.

  2. The UN is not what is was created for anymore. It’s primary function was to settle disputes between countries. Then came the food program. Next came the UN Army to police disputes. Now they are at war with the world on climate change. The big pouters are not about to shut down major industries to meet unrealistic climate goals. Let’s face it, the UN talks a lot but has mo authority over individual countries. The next ice age is slowly coming again and all the pollution will be gone.

  5. We can not stop the cycles that are dictated by the sun, and our orbit fluctuations. We are coming out of a mini ice age that started in the mid 1600’s and stopped in the mid 1800s. Since then we have been in a warming cycle. It seemed to have leveled off in the mid 1990s. Even using these fanatics own data, if we spend hundreds of trillions of dollars over the next 100 years we might…MIGHT…reduce the global temp by 1/2 of 1 degree. AND THATS USING THEIR NUMBERS AND SUGGESTIONS. I, myself, do not think there is anything we can do, with any amount of money, to sway the natural cycles that the Earth goes through. EVERYTHING THEY ARE RANTING ABOUT IS FOR THE MONEY AND THE POWER OVER EVERY ASPECT OF YOUR LIFE!!!!

  6. If anyone at the UN would look at average global temperatures, they would find those temperatures are going DOWN not up. from 2016 -2019 average global temperatures DROPPED by 0.5 degree. The last time global temperatures dropped this much in this short a time was in 1640, at the early stages of the last mini ice-age. In short, anyone claiming global temperatures are going up is full of excrement.”climate change” is nothing more than the name of the largest fraud in human history. FJB

  8. Well at least like over the 3 decades or so the world is not going to inhabitable in the next 8 to 10 years. AOC’s predictions must have been false. Interesting side note if these people really believe this stuff would so called believers like Obama have spent millions on lo0w waterfront at Martha’s Vinyard and Hawaii. After the will raise and claim FL, CA and other low ocean waterfront states.
    Many years ago i read that geologist claim that the next major pushup in the could be at the Mississippi delta because of the massive weight buildup from the silt settling there. They figured anytime within the next 400 years. Now that wou7ld raise havoc not only in the delta states but neighboring states as well.
