A Democrat congresswoman appears to have let the cat out of the bag on a possible strategy to discourage people from criticizing President Joe Biden for the catastrophic fallout of his domestic energy policies and it will only further contribute to the divisive scorched earth politics that have been perfected by her party.
In yet another chilling line of attack against the free speech that has long been the birthright of Americans, Rep. Kim Schrier said that blaming the pain at the pump on Biden and not on Vladimir Putin is un-American, an idea that will almost certainly spread like wildfire in media and on Twitter as Democrats are driven to desperate measures in order to stave off the expected electoral massacre in November.
The Washington State Democrat’s incendiary remarks come as Americans who were already being battered by the highest inflation rate in four decades are now dealing with the most expensive gas prices in their lifetime as the Russia-Ukraine conflict has spurred a spike in costs at the pump that were already wreaking havoc on family budgets.
Kim Schrier’s condemnation of critics of her party’s exalted leader as being close to treasonous came during an appearance on the progressive podcast “unDivided” which provided a forum for the unhinged lawmaker to smear those who would dare to stray from the White House narrative of the “Putin Price Hike” that absolves Biden of any responsibility for record gas prices.

Podcast host Brandi Kruse set the table: “On the topic of energy independence, depending on what pundit you turn on today, you are going to hear some blaming President Biden for how steep gas prices have become, you are going to hear some who say that the president has no bearing on gas prices, what do you believe?”
“I believe a couple things,” Schrier replied. “Right now, in the last two weeks, this is Putin. You should be blaming Putin, if anybody for this, and to not blame Putin, first of all, is denying reality and, second, frankly, I think is un-American.”
Schrier also sought to shift the pre-invasion blame away from the White House occupant who declared war on the U.S. fossil fuel industry on his first day in office when he canceled the Keystone XL Pipeline.
“So, this is Putin’s fault,” she said. “Before this, people were already suffering at the gas pump, before this right? We saw an increase of over a dollar a gallon over the past year and a half or so, that can be blamed realistically on, during the pandemic when people were not going to work and driving was down, gas prices were down, as demand increased and rigs had not yet been turned on, there was a supply and demand issue like with everything else in this country and that was to blame.”
As the midterm elections draw closer, the villainous Russian leader has become a convenient scapegoat for Democrats as they try to distract voters from the root cause of their economic suffering.

Schrier’s defense of dear leader along with her suggestion that naysayers were akin to de facto agents of the Kremlin shows a disturbing trend with leftists who have been backed into a corner and stand at risk of being voted out of power.
This week on “The View,” the co-hosts called for Biden’s Justice Department to investigate Fox News host Tucker Carlson and former Democrat Rep. Tulsi Gabbard for asking inconvenient questions, and Whoopi Goldberg actually seemed to suggest that the two should be arrested and imprisoned.

Schrier, who touts herself as the “first pediatrician in Congress” on her website, was first elected in 2018; she represents Washington’s 8th Congressional District and is up for reelection this year.
