In what may be their most unhinged diatribe of the year, the shrieking harpies on “The View” are calling for the investigation of Fox News ratings king Tucker Carlson and former Democrat Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, accusing the two of being “Russian propagandists” for daring to hold views that dissent from those of the Biden administration on the crisis in Ukraine.
On Monday’s edition of the popular ABC daytime show, the co-hosts unleashed their authoritarian impulses to call for the government to persecute their political adversaries, a common refrain from members of a party that has gone so far left since Hillary Clinton gagged away the 2016 election that they’ve crossed over into the territory of the old Soviet Union.
The ladies’ triggers were tripped by Carlson and Gabbard’s remarks suggesting that there could be secret biological research facilities in Ukraine, an incendiary allegation that despite being a major Russian propaganda talking point was given some credence when U.S. Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland acknowledged that such facilities do indeed exist during congressional testimony last week.
Ukraine has "biological research facilities," says Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland, when asked by Sen Rubio if Ukraine has biological or chemical weapons, and says she's worried Russia may get them. But she says she's 100% sure if there's a biological attack, it's Russia. pic.twitter.com/uo3dHDMfAS

The segment kicked off with Whoopi Goldberg citing a report from far-left website Mother Jones – a regular feeder system for leftist hysteria – that an alleged “leaked” Kremlin memo instructed Russian media to play clips of Carlson as often as possible, with the name of the source being anonymous which is so often the case when it comes to the leftist media and its hit pieces.
“So, Fox News’s host Tucker Carlson is apparently a big hit in Russia right now,” Goldberg began. “The website, Mother Jones posted a leaked Kremlin war memo instructing Russian state media to play Tucker Carlson clips as much as possible, and Tulsi Gabbard is being accused of spreading Russian false-flag propaganda. Here’s what they’ve both been saying about the war, take a look,” as she played cherry-picked clips of the two targets.

Despite the sketchy source for the document other than that it was provided by a “contributor to a national Russian media outlet who asked not to be identified,” it served as the basis for the attack on both Carlson as well as Gabbard who has been a frequent guest on his show.
Goldberg then gave some love to failed Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, a man who like other “conservatives” who saddled up with the Democrat lynch mob against former President Donald J. Trump, has found the approval that eluded him from the media in the twisted post-2016 environment where a shared loathing for the iconoclastic billionaire outsider turned the system on its head.
The former governor of ultra-liberal Massachusetts all but accused Gabbard of treason in a Twitter reaction to the former Hawaii congresswoman’s video message calling for all parties involved (US/Russia/Ukraine/NATO/UN/EU) to “implement a ceasefire now around these labs until they’re secured & pathogens destroyed.”
Tulsi Gabbard is parroting false Russian propaganda. Her treasonous lies may well cost lives.

Goldberg’s inclusion of both “Pierre Delecto” and Mother Jones in the same tirade is the ultimate of ironies in that it was David Corn who wrote the story on the Kremlin’s alleged Carlson memo who was also behind the devastating, secretly recorded tape of then-candidate Mitt Romney addressing donors about the “47 percent of the people” who leech off of the government and would vote for Barack Obama no matter what he said, a remark that he was vilified for in the runup to the 2012 election.
Co-host Ana Navarro seemed to suggest that Carlson’s bosses at Fox News should pull the plug on their top-rated host.
“The Fox board of directors should step in. If they call themselves patriots and, you know, it’s not enough to be posting flags about Ukraine. There’s a bunch of folks on that board of directors list like my friend Paul Ryan who I wish would be weighing and saying, ‘we cannot be Russian state TV – at least every hour,'” she said of the former House Speaker who now sits on the network’s board.
She later added, “I don’t think he’s getting dropped at all, but that’s an incredibly relevant question, and I think DOJ, in the same way that it is setting up a task force to investigate Russian oligarchs, should look into people who are Russian propagandists and shilling for Putin,” calling for Biden’s Justice department to go after Tucker and Tulsi.
Not to be outdone, Goldberg channeled Vladimir Putin by suggesting that the two should be deprived of their freedom for the high crime of having a dissenting opinion from the Biden regime and the rest of the establishment political elite
“They used to arrest people for doing stuff like this,” she said, a common refrain from modern Democrats who no longer even remotely resemble the party of icons like John F. Kennedy and Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Reactions to the outrageous demands for the persecutions of the two struck a nerve with some on Twitter including nationally syndicated host Jesse Kelly who pointed out similarities between today’s left and some of history’s most oppressive actors.
“Not sure why all the outrage over this. You surprised? Communists lock people up (and worse) for disagreeing with them. You think @ananavarro is bad? Your neighbor, your crazy liberal aunt on Facebook, and many more would do the same to you without hesitation,” he wrote. “Tough times ahead.”

“Never Trumper Ana Navarro wants the Biden Administration to engage in the same authoritarian tactics that Putin does and restrict the free speech rights of America citizens,” wrote Donald Trump Jr. ” How long before she goes full Soviet and calls to throw people in the Gulag for wrong think???”

Pulitzer Prize winner Glenn Greenwald also chimed in, flipping the tables on Navarro.
Ana Navarro got her start pressuring the US Congress to fund contra death squads in Nicaragua: her father was a member.
Under Trump, she constantly worked against her own government to benefit other countries, and does so now.
By her own reasoning, DOJ should investigate her. pic.twitter.com/ihyeSgnnyW

Others offered up their view.
Left wing democracy: If we can't silence those with opposing views like @TuckerCarlson, @OANN, shut them down. If necessary, weaponize government agencies and big tech.
If Putin and Xi can do that, why can't we? After all, we share the same ideology of a one-party rule.

Think about how dangerously absurd these people are?
They’re literally calling for the imprisonment of Tucker Carlson & Tulsi Gabbard for having very unpopular points of view on the Russian invasion of Ukrainian! https://t.co/Fo6R5zZ6uH— Ed Miller🇺🇸 (@permmiller) March 14, 2022
Whoopi Goldberg who said the Holocaust is “two groups of white people fighting” suddenly cares deeply about Ukraine and Russia

Two Fridays ago, @ElieNYC went on @TheView and called our Constitution “kind of trash.”
Now they’re calling for the arrest and prosecution of reporters and politicians who disagree with President Biden’s Ukraine policies.
Truly scary, un-American craziness.
Putin is blushing. https://t.co/now8zlpLt0

Once again, the crazies on “The View’ serve up proof for those who believe that inside of every liberal that there is a fascist screaming to get out.
