Newsmax host Eric Bolling has blasted one of his former colleagues for conducting a softball interview that was “offensive to softballs” and that led to truth “dying a bloody death.”

On his show called “The Balance” during which he reviewed the various hyperbolic activities marking the anniversary of the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, Bolling criticized Fox News host Neil Cavuto for hardly being fair and balanced in an interview with Never Trumper Adam Kinzinger, the Illinois GOP congressman who is not seeking reelection.

“Truth had a bad day yesterday, folks,” Bolling declared on Friday. “While we were on air yesterday, truth was being demolished over at the increasingly liberal network a few blocks west from Newsmax. A few blocks in distance, perhaps, miles away in conservative feet.”

“Neil Cavuto hosted a Trump-hating sycophant, Adam Kinzinger, and fed him softball questions. Actually, that’s offensive to softballs. Neil gave Kinzinger a silver platter to trash Trump with alley-oop questions…”

In the dialogue with Kinzinger, Cavuto lamented that Republican leaders have allegedly unified behind ex-President Trump despite previously criticizing his behavior on January 6.

“Truth would have been better served, Neil, if you asked Kinzinger if his well-documented hatred of Trump had anything to do with his being on that January 6 committee alongside the other huge Trump hater in Congress, Liz Cheney — you two turncoats, fake Republicans. You’re on your way out anyway, but you’d never know that from that interview.”

“So, truth suffered at the Capitol yesterday, and truth died a bloody death at 4 p.m. Eastern, across the way, at that studio in midtown Manhattan,” Bolling concluded.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) hand-picked Kinzinger and Cheney for the partisan J6 Committee after Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy pulled official GOP participation when Pelosi refused to seat U.S. Reps. Jim Banks (R-In.) and Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) on the panel. It’s unlikely that Cheney will survive a GOP primary unless the MAGA vote is split between multiple candidates.

During the Newsmax segment, Bolling condemned President Joe Biden for “failing miserably” in dealing with the COVID pandemic despite many campaign promises. “You lied; people died,” Bolling said in reference to the president.

Biden, among other things, maintains that the current spread constitutes a pandemic of the unvaccinated even though even triple-vaxxed persons continue to test positive for the virus.

Like many pundits and others, Bolling also castigated Vice President Harris for comparing, without evidence, January 6 to the Pearl Harbor attack and the 9/11 terror attacks where thousands died.

The only person killed on January 6 was unarmed Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt who was fatally shot by a Capitol Police officer, which perhaps signified the first time that the corporate media, and many Democrats, sided with a cop in an officer-involved shooting.

Bolling was ousted from Fox News in September 2017 over sexual harassment allegations on the same day his son tragically died from an accidental drug overdose.

After this monologue, it seems unlikely that a reunion between Bolling and the “increasingly liberal network” will ever occur.

Led by “The Five” and “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Fox News continues, by far, to dominate the cable news space, however.
