A biological woman has finally beaten “transgender woman” Lia Thomas, the previously unbeaten biological male who’s been dominating biological women in women’s college swimming on behalf of the University of Pennsylvania.
Thomas’ defeat reportedly occurred during an Ivy League swim meet Saturday.
There’s just one catch: The biological woman who beat Thomas on behalf of Yale University is a “transgender male,” Iszac Henig, who’s in the process of transitioning but claims to not having received any hormone treatments yet.
“As a student athlete, coming out as a trans guy put me in a weird position. I could start hormones to align more with myself, or wait, transition socially, and keep competing on a women’s swim team. I decided on the latter,” Henig wrote in a “coming out” piece for The New York Times in July.
“I value my contributions to the team and recognize that my boyhood doesn’t hinge on whether there’s more or less testosterone running through my veins. At least, that’s what I’ll try to remember when I put on the women’s swimsuit for competition and am reminded of a self I no longer feel attached to.”

According to bystanders who were present at the swimming competition, during earlier races at the meet, Thomas looked to be “coasting” by and “barely trying” while dominating, as usual. It’s not clear whether Thomas behaved similarly during the race with Henig. What’s known is that when matched against Henig, Thomas started losing.
“[S]tunned parents at the meet held at UPenn’s pool in Philadelphia gasped as Yale swimmer Iszac Henig easily beat out his opponents in the women’s 100-yard freestyle with a time of 49.57 seconds. Thomas finished fifth with a time of 52.84 seconds,” thej Daily Mail has confirmed.
“In the women’s 400-yard freestyle relay, Henig again crushed Thomas and his other competitors, finishing in 50.45 seconds to power Yale to victory in the meet. Thomas finished her leg of the race in 51.94 seconds. Henig also finished first in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 22.76.”
Because of Thomas’ behavior, some genuinely believe that Thomas purposefully lost to help boost the “transgender” narrative.
It is completely transparent how orchestrated this is. This looks like blatant race-fixing to me. pic.twitter.com/Dn1lVJpDFV

I’m confused why was Yale swimmer still on the women’s team?
That “woman-turned-man” swimmer had boobs removed and taking testosterone, so (s)He should not have been swimming against other women anywa
I wonder if the Penn “man-turned-woman” swimmer lost on purpose.
Skeptical

Dude lost on purpose. He got too much attention when he crushed the other swimmers by ridiculous times. He made himself a sacrificial lamb in this race to keep the trans narrative alive.

Well, this one is odd because the person that best Lia is a naturally born woman transforming into a man and is probably on testosterone. Lia likely lost on purpose. To much heat.

I was wondering that aswell. Maybe Lia lost on purpose because of all the flack.

Lia definitely lost on purpose.

Another theory posited by skeptics is that Henig has been receiving hormone treatments. It’d certainly fit, given as Henig has at least been receiving surgery.
In fact, during Saturday’s meet, Henig reportedly “pulled down the top of his swimsuit,” briefly shocking parents who’d expected to see breasts that, it turns out, had already been surgically removed.
“I wasn’t prepared for that. Everything is messed up. I can’t wrap my head around this. The NCAA needs to do something about this. They need to put science into the decision and discussion,” one shocked parent said to the Daily Mail.
