Oprah calls out bestie Gayle King for not completing her personal COVID ‘policy’ before celebration

Some people are more invested in COVID-19 regulations than others. It’s a spectrum that ranges from wearing a mask around others to full-blown Oprah Winfrey-level madness.

This madness led media mogul Oprah to shade her bestie Gayle King for not being able to show up to a massive party she threw for King’s grandson, whom the group had not yet met due to pandemic restrictions.

In this day and age it might seem responsible, if not somewhat normal, to make sure that a large gathering is the safest it can be, but some people think Oprah’s “Policy” is a bridge too far.

In a Facebook post on Winfrey’s page, she gushed about King’s grandson, but noted that grandma Gayle wasn’t able to make it – specifically because she had not completed the 4-step guide.

“Everyone who is spending Christmas at my house has to be vaccinated, boosted, tested, and quarantined. Stedman calls it “The Policy” cause I’m that serious about it. This was release day for our bubble and we knew we had to throw a welcome celebration for Baby Luca, who none of us had met yet! We missed his grandma Gayle King but she’ll join us once she completes the policy!” Oprah happily posted.
