MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell devoured by her own peeps for mild criticism of Biden, ‘TRAITOR to America’

There is mounting friction on the left with troubles continuing to pile up for President Joe Biden as the nation has been battered by massive inflation, shortages, and most recently, a renewed COVID outbreak that has cast a dark shadow over the traditionally festive Christmas holiday.

With the White House having pressured its media partners to gaslight Americans that everything is really much better than their bank accounts may indicate, one normally reliable talking head was subjected to the full fury of the Democrat mob for deviating from the message on Biden’s economy.

MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell was trending on Twitter after remarks that claims of the miraculous economic recovery engineered by Biden may have been premature were greeted with the type of uncouth savagery that is normally reserved for former President Donald J. Trump and his supporters.

“The president is saying that mission accomplished practically!” Mitchell said, conjuring memories of former President George W. Bush’s infamous statement about the Iraq war when he landed on an aircraft carrier in early 2003 that haunted him for the duration of his presidency.

She added, “He says that the shelves are 90% full, that is certainly anecdotal and probably spotty, and it’s also, you know, larger manufactured goods that are harder to get, construction elements.”

“I can tell you about home repairs, but that’s another story. So there’s still a supply chain problem, but perhaps Christmas shopping is a little bit easier than somebody feared,” Mitchell remarked and was accompanied by a chyron reading EMPTY SHELVES.

With Biden having the proverbial week from hell with Sen. Joe Manchin torpedoing his signature “Build Back Better” agenda, as well as the renewed panic over COVID due to the Omicron variant, Mitchell’s candor was met with extreme hostility including one Twitter user going so far as to call her a “b*tch” and a “TRAITOR to America.”

The same user also called for Mitchell and Chuck Todd, who has also been deemed as insufficiently deferential to Biden, to move to Fox News.

Others spewed their venom at the wife of former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan.

Others retweeted former South Bend, IN mayor turned Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s spin as proof that the economic pain felt by millions was a figment of their imagination and that Mitchell’s remarks weren’t rooted in reality.

Some Twitter users expressed delight at the left’s latest devouring of one of their own.

The left’s attacks on Mitchell come two weeks after it was revealed that White House officials were secretly meeting with media corporations to misleadingly represent the flailing and increasingly unpopular Biden’s economic policies, a report that Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter Glenn Greenwald likened to “state TV” and many would probably tend to agree with him on that assessment.

Andrea Mitchell won’t be the last to be cast out as a heretic as the critical 2022 midterm elections draw closer and any departure from the official talking points will be treated as treason by a power-mad left that is determined to retain total control over the government.
