Joe Rogan has once again rattled the cages of thin-skinned leftists, this time with a remark about the importance of the face masks that they seem to have adopted as the political symbol of the Democratic Party, a suggestion that has been treated as blasphemy by the COVID cult.

According to Rogan, when it comes to Democrats, the masks have become the equivalent of the red MAGA hats that are an attire item of choice for supporters of former President Donald J. Trump, a statement that did not go over well with those who have spent years demonizing those who wore the familiar ballcaps.

On the latest edition of his hugely popular podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience,” the host and his guest, top surfer Shane Dorian engaged in another of the wide-ranging, free-flowing extended interviews that he has become famous for and the subject of masks came up.

Dorian blew Rogan away when he talked about the adverse environmental impact of the discarded masks, stating that an estimated 1.6 billion of them ended up in the ocean in 2020 and that the “pandemic is producing an epidemic of masks going into the oceans,” that’s “a lot of f**king masks” remarked the host.

Rogan then ran afoul of Dr. Anthony Fauci and other health “experts” as he questioned the effectiveness of the masks, saying, “I don’t even know if they work.”

Dorian then tossed out another scientific fact about the masks, stating that a Styrofoam cup takes 50 years to biodegrade and challenging Rogan to offer a guess about the timeframe for one of the disposable face diapers, to which he answered 150 years, a number that came up 3 centuries short of the 450 years that it takes for a mask to similarly biodegrade, a detail that would seem to matter to the environmentally-conscious scolds on the left.

Rogan then said, “masks are like the Democrats’ MAGA hat.”

“You wear because it makes people feel comfortable and I know it’s illogical, and I’m fine wearing it if it relaxes people and makes them feel better. But if people want to actually argue that they do something, it just doesn’t make any sense man, it doesn’t make any sense,” he added.

Twitter exploded with the weeping and gnashing of teeth of perpetually aggrieved leftists who will likely bitterly cling to their masks for long after the pandemic has ended.

Leftists wailed in all of the impotent fury that could be packed into 280 characters with one Twitter user, comedian and journalist Dean Obeidallah, seeming to imply that Spotify, which signed Rogan to a contract reportedly worth over $100 million last year, should cancel him for spreading “potentially deadly information during a spike in Covid cases.”

Still others agreed with Rogan’s latest jabbing of the neurotic left.

Leftists who rejoiced when Rogan announced that he had contracted COVID, but had their joy rudely snuffed out after he quickly rebounded by throwing the “kitchen sink” at it with a ton of meds including Ivermectin, are easy targets for such mockery and their overheated reactions serve as an exclamation point of how truly ridiculous they are.
