Fox News’ Jesse Watters is predicting a juicy battle in the 2024 primaries between Vice President Kamala Harris and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, billing the fight as a “gay male intellectual versus a woman of color.”

The White House characteristically denies any sort of rivalry between the two, but the panel of “The Five” believes none of that, with Watters anticipating the matchup will be a “bloodbath” and declaring “I am here for it.”

During Thursday’s segment, footage of a recent White House press briefing was shown with Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asking White House press secretary Jen Psaki about the departure of VP Harris spokesperson Symone Sanders, the latest in a string of resignations among the staff of the woefully unpopular Vice President.

“Is the vice president not satisfied with the staffing she has had so far, or do people just not want to work for her anymore?” Doocy asked.

Psaki, defensive and wound up to spin just like any other day, fired back that it’s all status quo in the Biden regime and that working in the White House can be “grueling and exhausting,” adding that “it’s natural for staffers who’ve thrown their heart and soul into a job to be ready to move on to a new challenge after a few years.”

Watters interjected, “As a nitwit, I’m gonna give you my best analysis here, there’s three dynamics at play.”

“One, the mainstream media is maneuvering the 2024 Democratic primary, and they are doing it in the first year of Joe Biden’s presidency. They are basically saying that Joe is toast, this is how we are going to mess around with the field in 2024, it’s amazing to watch this happen so soon.”

“And then you have people that can read the writing on the wall, Kamala is not the heir apparent, so they are trying to get out before the Kamala stench sinks in too deeply,” he surmised.

Both Harris and Buttigieg have faced plenty of righteous criticism for their respective job performances. Harris, the intrinsically unlikeable border czar who recently bailed on a meeting in Mexico on the issue to, instead, make a cringeworthy PSA on space exploration with hired kid actors, and Mayor Pete, for shirking his responsibilities during the ongoing supply chain crisis in order to cash in for almost two months of paternity leave.

To name just two things.

“And what you’re now seeing is that bench is so thin with mayor Pete and Kamala,” Watters continued. “It’s going to be a bloodbath in a couple of years because you have … a gay white male intellectual versus a woman of color. And neither of them can win the white working-class vote, but neither of them can win the black vote! So this is going to be the most delicious, divisive, drama you could ever imagine.”

He concluded “I am here for it.”
