President Joe Biden doesn’t answer a lot of questions but when he does, he leaves people scratching their heads.

The question from Fox News’ Peter Doocy was incredibly straightforward: “Do you still think that voters really want to hear you talking about [former President Donald] Trump more than the issues affecting them every day?”

Biden’s response, as one has come to expect, didn’t make a whole lot of sense.

“Well, the reason I mention Trump is because the issues he supports are affecting their lives every day, and are a negative impact on their lives,” he said.

Twitter users were not impressed by this response, and many noted that the “issues” Trump supports were mostly overturned by Biden shortly after he took office:

Keeping Trump at the forefront of his thoughts might soon backfire on Biden, however, if the former president decides to launch another bid for the White House in 2024.

As Biden’s approval ratings free fall, Americans may be seeking a replacement in the man who seemed to have a much better handle on the border, the country’s energy policies, inflation, and other critical aspects of everyday life.
