Country mega-star Jason Aldean’s outspoken wife confronts cancel culture: ‘I don’t give a damn’

Jason Aldean’s wife, Brittany, is fearlessly taking a stand and offering to be the voice for her fans who fear being victimized by cancel culture because of their political opinions.

She has been very vocal and outspoken concerning her politics on social media. Aldean believes that her ability to speak out publicly has been a voice for her followers who want to express their conservative views. Many have reached out to her privately, according to Fox News.

On Instagram Thursday she was asked, “What helped you be more open about your political views on here when most people don’t agree?”

Aldean revealed that she gets a lot of support in her DMs for her political opinions and made it clear she doesn’t care what anyone thinks of her politics.

“I personally don’t give a damn if people don’t agree with me. I think it’s important now more than ever to stand for what you believe, even if it ‘goes against the grain.’ Do your research, and form your own opinion – speak out if you wish. But most importantly, don’t bully people who feel differently than you,” she said.

Aldean’s comments are in line with those she previously made during the 2020 presidential election. She has always been a supporter of former President Trump. She posted a video that showed her wearing a blue sweatshirt with Trump’s name on it next to an American flag with the caption, “… STILL MY PRESIDENT.” Biden supporters torched her for it.

She stated that due to the backlash on her page over her support for Trump, many of her followers privately messaged her stating their personal support for the former president as well. Aldean echoed her recent words that she intends to keep speaking up for her followers who fear losing their jobs and friends for simply voicing pro-Trump or pro-Republican political sentiments.

“I WILL CONTINUE TO SPEAK. FOR THE PEOPLE THAT MESSAGE ME AND AREN’T ABLE (FOR FEAR OF LOSING BUSINESS OR FRIENDS) IT IS DISGUSTING TO ME THAT ‘FREEDOM OF SPEECH’ APPLIES TO EVERYONE BUT REPUBLICANS,” she heatedly wrote. Aldean went on to tell her fans “you are not alone.”

When the Jan. 6 riot took place, she shared her thoughts on that as well. She reposted the claim that two of the men who breached the Capitol building were members of Antifa. Instagram removed that image and she decried she was being censored.

“Instagram wanted me to know that it was against their guidelines to post,” Aldean reported in a video. “It’s getting so ridiculous the filters you put on everyone that’s against your narrative. It’s unbelievable and it’s ridiculous. It’s just really sad what this world’s coming to.”

“Apparently freedom of speech doesn’t apply to everyone and that’s the issue I have. I have AMAZING conversations with my liberal friends and we can agree to disagree. It’s the people that aren’t willing to hear you that chap my a**,” she wrote.

Aldean was not deterred in the least. On Memorial Day, she took a swing at Vice President Kamala Harris after she tweeted, “enjoy the long weekend.”

“Our family doesn’t take Memorial Day lightly,” Aldean wrote. “It’s more than a ‘long weekend.’”

She then posted patriotic images of her family on that weekend with “stars and stripes” balloons and an American flag that was waving in the wind.

“@jasonaldean and I both come from military families and understand the importance our loved ones and others have sacrificed for us, and our freedom. We fly our flag high…EVERY SINGLE DAY. It’s the least we can do to show our appreciation,” she added.

There was a ton of support for Brittany Aldean and her political courage on Twitter:
