The Biden administration’s total failure in Afghanistan marks a sad end to the nation’s longest war and is an insult to those who bravely served their nation who should remain proud for doing their jobs by sacrificing much to bring freedom to the people of the war-torn country.
That is the message from Republican Senate candidate Sean Parnell, a decorated Army veteran who laid his own life on the line during combat duty in Afghanistan, and he put the blame for the “debacle” of the humiliating surrender to the Taliban squarely on feckless politicians; “The Afghan debacle is on the suits. Not the boots.”
Parnell saluted those who served in the war; “To our troops who fought in the Afghan War: You did your job. You did it well. You defeated the enemies of America at every turn. You gave the Afghans a shot at freedom. Be proud of your service because America is proud of you,”
He tweeted in a morale booster to all of those who were stabbed in the back by self-serving, incompetent politicians.
To our troops who fought in the Afghan War:
You did your job. You did it well. You defeated the enemies of America at every turn.
You gave the Afghans a shot at freedom. Be proud of your service because America is proud of you.
This Afghan debacle is on the suits. Not the boots.

With the situation on the ground deteriorating by the hour as the U.S. embassy in Kabul is evacuated with the Taliban massing at the perimeters of the country’s capital, it is obvious that the Biden administration is only interested in how to best spin the defeat and gaslighting the American people that it is all the fault of former President Donald J. Trump who wanted to get the U.S. out of Afghanistan but with a detailed plan to do it in an orderly fashion, unlike Joe Biden.
Parnell also took to Twitter to hammer the new commander in chief with a video clip of Biden from last month denying that a Taliban takeover was a possibility.
“Joe Biden is woefully out of his depth & the whole world sees it.” Parnell wrote.
Stop what you’re doing and listen to this.
Just an unbelievable & tragic miscalculation. He’s overly confident & flat out wrong in almost every single conclusion he draws about end-state operations in Afghanistan.

The handover of Afghanistan to the repressive Islamist hardliners comes only weeks before the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, a day that will forever live in infamy and the destruction of the World Trade Center by allies of the Taliban was the reason why American troops were sent into the desolate, mountainous hellhole, only to be sold out by the “suits” and four-star failures at the Pentagon two decades later.
Parnell took a flamethrower to the “woke” military brass during an appearance on Fox News last week.

“My men in Afghanistan bled the ground red and for the last seven months I’ve watched generals engage in Twitter fights with people, debate the merits of critical race theory on Capitol Hill, it seemed like our generals were more concerned with fighting Tucker Carlson then they were the Taliban and we are seeing the tragic and disastrous consequences of that play on the battlefield right now,” he told host Sean Hannity, ”
While he didn’t mention him by name in the interview, one of those generals is Mark Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Of Staff who appeared before Congress in June where he admitted reading the works of communists including Vladimir I. Lenin, Karl Marx, and Chairman Mao and railed against “white rage,” a figment of the left’s imagination that nonetheless has led to a military purge of those who may have supported Trump.
Parnell dropped a MOAB on Milley who he called out for allowing bases to be overrun by Taliban militants who took control of weapons and drones that will almost certainly be used against American troops.
Deliberate retrograde? Forces leaving in good order?
You abandoned our bases in the middle of the night. Our enemies are driving our trucks and MRAPs. They’re carrying our weapons. They have our drones for God’s sake.
You cut sling load & ran. It’s shameful. https://t.co/NXU8FsHTUD

Some have compared Biden’s running up the white flag in Afghanistan to the disastrous end of the Vietnam war, another betrayal by politicians, only this time it is much worse with America’s enemies in an increasingly dangerous world licking their chops over the weakness in Washington.

Parnell who is also a bestselling author will be battling to fill the open Pennsylvania Senate seat that is currently held by Sen. Pat Toomey and is up for grabs in next year’s critical midterm elections.
