The unbridled hatred on the left for Donald Trump — and his potential to derail their visions of a socialist utopia — is so intense it sweeps up everyone around the former president, including his wife and former first lady Melania Trump.
So much so that even renovating the White House Rose Garden, as Mrs. Trump did last year, is game for an attack, as seen over the weekend by Michael Beschloss, who is billed as an American historian specializing in the United States presidency.
Not that Melania Trump isn’t willing to clap back, as we will soon see.
Taking to Twitter, Beschloss felt compelled to mark the one year anniversary of the Rose Garden redo, which he hatefully described as an “evisceration.”
“Evisceration of White House Rose Garden was completed a year ago this month, and here was the grim result—decades of American history made to disappear,” he said in a tweet Saturday.

As for historians, they may have a lot to say about the Trump presidency, but one thing is indisputable, the American public came face to face with the reality that the media was largely corrupt and could not be trusted — this being aided by the “fake news” narrative Trump pushed throughout his term.
On that note, the office of the former first lady responded to Beschloss by noting that the photo he tweeted showed the Rose Garden in the early stages of being redone. It was further suggested that he was ignorant and dishonorable.
The tweet from Mrs. Trump’s office included a recent picture, which showed pink and white flowers in full bloom in the Rose Garden.
“[Michael Beschloss] has proven his ignorance by showing a picture of the Rose Garden in its infancy. The Rose Garden is graced with a healthy & colorful blossoming of roses. His misleading information is dishonorable & he should never be trusted as a professional historian,” the reply stated.

Ever graceful throughout the unhinged four-year media campaign to destroy her husband, an effort that included contributions from the U.S. intelligence apparatus, Mrs. Trump rose above the fray and worked to be a first lady the nation deserved.
As successful as she was in this endeavor, Melania Trump was vilified and shunned by the left. Despite being a beautiful woman and a former model, she didn’t appear on a single cover of a leading fashion magazine in four years — these liberal sycophants fawned over Michelle Obama, working diligently each time she appeared on a cover to make the former first lady appear model-like.
It’s not clear why Beschloss, who is a PBS NewsHour commentator and NBC News presidential historian, opted to revisit the renovation a year later to cast shade on the former first lady — readers are free to make their own assumptions.
But even fellow members of the media saw it as “over the top,” as seen from former CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller, who’s certainly not a ranking member of the Trump fan club.
“Evisceration?” A bit over the top, Michael. Not as if they built a Trump Pitch n Putt there.

Brigitte Gabriel, the founder of ACT for America, responded to the attack to add sorely missing perspective.
“Fake historians for over a year now have been claiming that First Lady Melania Trump ‘ruined’ the White House Rose Garden and removed all the flowers. So let’s settle the score here and get down to the TRUTH,” Gabriel said to begin a series of tweets.
She noted that the liberal media was unhappy with Mrs. Trump replacing “colorful tulips that dominated the space in the Obama years” and returning the Rose Garden “back to its intended purpose.”
Melania Trump worked for months on a deeply thought out project to RESTORE the White House Rose Garden to its original design from Bunny Mellon, made at the request of President John F. Kennedy in 1962.
This project was also funded 100% by private donors, NOT taxpayer money.

Fake Doctor First Lady Jill even posted photos of the renovated garden recently clearly showing the wide variety of roses.

Yet, a single tweet perfectly captures the America left today. An irredeemably hate-filled cabal that projects its misery on the rest of the nation unabated, courtesy of this thing we call social media:
