A vocal anti-government control activist seen in a video — reportedly from a year ago in Canada — made several highly accurate predictions about how his government and others throughout the West would continue using the COVID-19 pandemic to seize power from the masses and control their populations.
In an interview in front of what appears to be a Toronto venue, the man in the video dubbed “Gym Bro” lays out in accurate detail how he believed the government would respond as the pandemic played out in his country and elsewhere. His predictions were accurate not just for Canada but also for the United States.
“You don’t need the mask, the mask is about compliance, ’cause they know Canadians like to do what they’re told,” Gym Bro — real name Chris ‘Sky’ Saccoccia, an anti-mask, anti-lockdown activist — says. “So, they tell you that you have to wear a mask, next they’re gonna tell you you have to contact trace.
“Then they’re gonna tell you you have to take the vaccine, and because Canadians like to do what they’re told, they’re hoping that everyone just compiles,” Saccoccia, who was charged in May with making death threats against Ontario Premier Doug Ford, continued.

“And then guess what, kids? Once you take your vaccine like a dumb person that doesn’t know any better, they’re going to tell you ‘sorry, the vaccine isn’t as effective as we told you it was gonna be,’ so now you still gotta wear your mask, still gotta get contact traced, still have all the restrictions and social distancing, and still take your vaccine,” he went on.
“And then what did you get out of all this? You got a whole year where you weren’t allowed to travel, your business was closed, they took your right to freedoms, forced a vaccine on you, and…what happened?” he asked.

“The same amount of people died, everything is the exact same, and now they’re gonna put you back on lockdown and bring it all the way to July of next year — so they can do the same thing again,” he predicted. “Bring you to July, August, and September, getting you off lockdown, but just to bring you back on lockdown again.
“If you idiots haven’t figured it out yet, it’s a perpetual cycle that you never get out of, and it’s a way to take your rights, your freedoms, close your business, take your wealth…so you become dependent on government,” Saccoccia added.
“If you’re independent, the government works for you like it’s supposed to. If you depend on the government to give you a paycheck to feed your family every month ’cause they closed your business on you, now the government doesn’t work for you, the government rules you,” he added.
“So instead of a middle class, we have the government upper class and the lower-class dependents that rely on the government to survive.
“In other words, we have a slave class,” he concluded.
The video, reportedly taken during the summer of 2020, surfaced as U.S. health officials announced some “breakthrough” COVID-19 infections among a growing number of previously vaccinated Americans resulting from a newly emerged Delta variant, which has made it necessary for the Biden administration to reimpose mask-wearing mandates in federal buildings and recommend them for areas of the country where the variant outbreak is worst.
In April, The First TV host Jesse Kelly reported on what he described as creeping authoritarianism in Canada, all of which is directly linked to the pandemic.
“Have you been watching this stuff in Canada, with what they’re doing with the coronavirus lockdowns?” he said to begin his segment.
“Canada — the landmass directly to our north and our single largest trading partner, the country with whom we share the longest international border in the world — Canada took a dramatic move toward legitimately dangerous authoritarianism. In Canada, yes,” he added.
“You think it’s going to stay in Canada? That stuff is coming here. It is coming here,” he added.
