President Joe Biden exhibited bizarre behavior in a Thursday press conference that has since caused “Creepy Joe” to trend on Twitter and Fox News contributor Charlie Hurt to wonder “who the heck is in charge” at the White House.
The strange behavior in question came as Biden hunched over his microphone and aggressively whispered to the crowd of reporters.
“I don’t know what [Biden’s] trying to do, and if the idea is to try to get attention for himself, he’s obviously getting attention for himself but not in a good way. It’s really creepy, it’s really weird,” Hurt said during a segment on Fox News’s “Hannity.”
“Then the other thing is the thing that he forgot to mention, I don’t know, was a building collapsed in Florida, and then he comes back to the microphone and starts joking around about it,” Hurt pointed out before asking, “I’m sorry, this is not funny, that’s not funny, and it’s beyond creepy because it really does raise serious questions about who the heck is in charge over there at the White House right now?”
“That’s the problem, he goes out and goes in front of the media and then they went back and they whispered in his ear and they said Mr. President, you can’t do that deal, you’re not allowed to do that,” Fox News contributor Jason Chaffetz said, affirming Hurt’s prior point.
“It’s like when he goes to the microphone… and he’s going to talk to the media the few times he does and then he says oh I’m going to get in trouble if I don’t call on the right person. You’re right, I mean c’mon man, he just doesn’t know what to say,” Chaffetz explained.
The whispering began when PBS reporter Yamiche Alcindor asked Biden about additional coronavirus relief at a press conference this week.
“I got them $1.9 trillion in relief so far. They’re going to be getting checks in the mail that are consequential this week for childcare,” Biden whispered back.

“I wrote the bill on the environment. Why would I not be for it?” Biden whispered to CNN reporter Phil Mattingly in response to a question about the low expectations for the bipartisan deal.
“Pay them more. This is an employee’s — an employee’s bargaining chip now,” Biden lurched over the microphone and whispered, answering his own question about the labor shortage.
Even more concerning than Biden’s chill-inducing whisper was that he completely forgot to address the tragic condo complex collapse in Miami that reportedly has left four dead and 159 missing. Biden mumbled something about “catching a helicopter” as he walked away from the press conference before Vice President Kamala Harris pulled him back and reminded him to address the tragedy.
Biden promised Miami that the federal government would help in any way possible.
Many social media users agreed with Hurt’s remarks and echoed his query about who is really running the show at the White House:
We all wonder the same thing.

We will probably never really know who is in charge at the White House. Obviously NOT Biden.

I’m guessing Obama.

Jill is in charge! She the note taker, note writer and reminds her husband when he forgets. Someday she may be his official speaker at every public event
